Tris POV:
I open my eyes to see nobody in my room. When did I fall asleep? What time is it?
I look out the window for a few minutes. Then I realize it's not a window. It's a painting. Nice. Am I going crazy?
Yes.
I've been locked up in this prison like hospital room for a few days now. At least I think. I'm getting more memories back, so maybe it was a nightmare I saw? No. It was real. I remember him clearly.
Hopefully Tobias comes by soon. I want to see him. I'm remembering more. I want to tell him. I remember him. And all of our wonderful memories!
The Ferris wheel, Candor or Dauntless, first kiss, the cake. Oooh I'll never forget about the cake. But I know one thing; I love him more than I love Dauntless cake.
I peacefully look around the room for who knows how long. Then I hear two knocks at the door, and a puffy eyed Tobias comes in. I immediately smile.
"Tobias!" I yell, excitedly. "I've been waiting for you for a..." my voice trails off. "Have you been crying?"
He looks away from me for a second. But I can tell he's slowly nodding. I reach out and grab his hand, and yank him towards me.
I let out a giggle and pull him near my face. I get real close to his lips and whisper, "Toby, I love you. Tell me what's wrong or I won't kiss you!"
He looks at me with a repulsed look on his face. He tries to kiss me, but I move my head away. I laugh at his attempt, and he tries again, and I do the same thing. I see a grin come across his face, but it doesn't reach his ears.
"Fine. I'll tell you!! I've been waiting to kiss you for a little while now! I kind of..." his voice is trailing. I grab his cheeks and make him look at me.
"I promise I won't be mad!"
"Well...I kinda, well Marcus 'tripped' into the Chasm." I look stunned for a moment. I open my mouth up and down for minutes.
"You what?"
