I grumbled
"Y/N"
"Go away" I groaned.
I heard footsteps walk away from my bed for a few seconds.
Suddenly blinding light stabbed my eyeballs.
"Dad!" I hissed as I covered my head with my blanket.
"I'm wondering if I have a vampire for a daughter now... hurry up. Breakfast is getting cold."
"How'd you even get in my apartment..?" I murmured
"It's Halloween. You gave me spare keys Incase you got locked out of your own apartment. You're going to help me put up some decorations"
"Halloween..?"
Man time passes quickly.
I closed my eyes shut.
The past week I couldn't get my mind off that boy.
His blue eyes that hypnotized me.
His smile that melted my heart.
I grinned like a potato as I thought about him.
"God. I have a crush on him" i said
"What? I thought you already have Jake?" My dads voice popped up again
"Go away! Please" I whined
"Okay okay. I'm going" I heard footsteps leave the room and the door creak shut.
I felt my phone vibrate on my nightstand.
I poked my head from my blanket and grabbed my phone.
Jake...
He was calling me.
Guilt returned to me.
I hesitantly answered the call.
"Hey.." I said as I tried my best to hold a happy tone.
"Hey." His voice seemed satisfied and relieved that I answered. "I was wondering if you wanted to come to the Halloween party with me today? It's at Kevin's house."
".."
I didn't want to go.
"Chelsea will be there" he mentioned.
"..."
I stayed silent as I thought about my decision.
"Please?" He begged.
My heart fluttered as I heard his voice.
I could just imagine his eyes looking at me like a puppy who wanted a cuddle.
"Fine" I groaned
"Wear a costume. Thank you. Love you. See you tonight!" He made a kissy noise before hanging up.
Costume?
