"Jack...Im scared" i murmured softly to him.
It was 2:47 am. I had woken up shaking.
It was those nightmares again.
I shuffled uncomfortably under the warm blankets.
There was no light in the room, just pure darkness.
"I know.." He whispered back to me as he slowly wrapped his arms around me.
I told him i was having nightmares almost every single week.
It terrified me badly, i was too afraid of telling him that the nightmares were about him.
He pressed me for more information, but i didn't tell him anything else.
"Hey its okay.." He cooed as he gently caressed my cheek.
I felt his unusually warm hands touch my cheek.
It surprised me. They were usually cold.
I tried to wiggle my way closer into his arms to feel more safer.
How was it possible that this man made me feel terrified but so safe at the same time?
"Jack...Im scared to go back to sleep" i sighed "What if those nightmares come back?"
"It won't... I don't know why you won't tell me, but i promise you I'll protect you" he said it so gently that it even made me even more sleepier.

Can you really?...
I shut my eyes sadly.
...
..
.
"Its a man...." I mumbled.
"A man?" He asked with curiosity
"A man who keeps on killing me over and over again. In every nightmare" my voice shook slightly as i spoke.
I remembered each nightmare. Every single second, i remembered.
He stayed quiet for a few seconds.
I didn't know if he was going to respond, so i continued with what i was saying.
