I woke up feeling terribly cold.
I shivered as I slowly opened my eyes.
The sunlight was shining through the curtains, but the room was still dark.
I turned around to see Jack sleeping like a baby.
My face turned into pure grumpiness.
He was snuggling into the blanket.
He was greedily hugging it with his arms as he cuddled it.
I didn't have any part of the blanket on me.
He stole it all.
I searched for a clock in the room, but there wasn't anything.
"Jack!" I hissed as I tried to yank the blanket out of his arms.
He just tightened in his grip and pulled on it gently as he furrowed his eyebrows.
I gave up and sat up.
A scorching pain ran through my stab wound.
I really should change the bandages
They were covered in dry blood.
I stood up.
The pain reliever pills had worn off.
I flinched as I walked.
It hurt, but it wasn't that bad.
When my fingers were just about to touch the door knob I heard a soft groan.
"Mm... .." he yawned
I turned my head.
His eyes were still shut as he stretched.
He gently pat the bed next to him.
He furrowed his eyebrows and began to pat more violently and panicky
Then his eyes shot open.
"Y/N??" He sat up with horror written all over him but relief washed over his face as his eyes landed on me.
