The next day after waking up to a blushing Ruby, her friends woke up. Ichigo gave them the same explanation he had given the two scythe wielders, and each person reacted in their own ways. Nora jumped up and down in her bed shooting off questions like her heart pumped pure caffeine, Ren nodded and sent him an understanding look, and Jaune was skeptical at first, but when Ichigo brought out his Zanpakuto spirit he believed the young soul reaper.
Later, the team of three were given permission to leave the hospital, when the group walked to a clearing Ichigo told them something that they were not expecting…
“Train us?” Ruby asked, excited that she gets to learn with her new crush.
Ichigo let out a sigh, “Yeah, so aura and semblances, those powers come from the soul right?” Everyone nodded.
“My power does too, but I'm going to need some help if you want to become a proper shinigami. Listen, the training methods I went through were very dangerous. I am not going to force anyone to make this decision, and I'm also not sure what I have in mind will even work, but-” he was interrupted by Ruby, who put on a reassuring smile.
“It's fine Ichigo, besides, we want- no, we NEED to get stronger. Otherwise, we can't face the ones we lost…right?”
Ichigo nodded solemnly as Qrow walked onto the scene.
The scythe wielder sat down next to the orange head, “So, your really going to do this kid?”
The shinigami sighed, “I don't have a choice Qrow. If what you told me is indeed true, then we need to be ready. That's why I'm training them, so that humanity has nothing to fear any longer.” As Ruby's uncle got out his flask and took a swig, Ichigo considered the four teens in front of him.
Lie Ren, even though he seemed unremarkable at first, his calmness, stealth tactics, and the ability to not only control his emotions, but to analyze the situation is amazing. His teamwork, especially with Nora and Jaune, is something else.
Nora Valkyrie, A caffeinated ball of a sugar high combined with monstrous strength makes her very dangerous on the battlefield. With her ability over lightning and a giant sledgehammer named Magnigald, It makes one wonder if she has a distant relative named ‘Thor’ somewhere out there.
Jaune…well...he's not very good with his weapons. But what he lacks in skill he more than makes up for in strategic planning and brainpower. His ability to analyze situations and find weak points in the most hopeless and darkest of times is key for their victory against Salem.
Ruby? She's a bundle of optimism and wears her heart on her sleeve. Her skill with a scythe is unbelievable, and her speed was unparalleled, that is until Ichigo made it here. However, with the training he has in mind, Ruby can get even faster. That, along with being a quick learner, having latent potential, and excellent leadership abilities will potentially make her the strongest one here.
“Ok then, make sure to go easy on them kiddo.”
Ichigo smirked as he looked back to Qrow and yelled, “No promises!”
The drunkard laughed and watched as the carrot top approached the four friends to begin their training for becoming shinigami.
“I don't really know where to start…” Everyone sweatdropped at the soul reaper before a familiar voice came from the underbrush.
“Ichigo-kun, training others without me? Im hurt…” Ichigo froze and slowly turned his head towards the figure, who was walking slowly towards the clearing, clogs clacking against the dirt.
The man has messy blonde hair underneath a white and green striped bucket hat that shadowed his eyes. He wore wooden clogs on his feet with a white robe and a green overcoat with white diamonds decorating the bottom.
Ichigo felt his eyes go wide, “N-No way...Thats impossible! I WATCHED YOU DIE!!!”
“Hello mina-san! Shall we get started?” Kiskue Urahara smirked.
AN: That's a wrap! Kiskue seems to be alive, and is going to train everyone! What do you know eh?
Ruby: I can't wait to do this! Ill be like waaah! Kachaaaa...hyaa!
Yang: What about me then? Will I get any training!
Kraken: Maybe Yang...maybe..
Yang: Thats not an answer! *pouts*
Kraken: Still can't tell you since its further along in the plot...sorry.
Yang & Ruby: Awww…
