"Silver"

--Y/N POV--

"The planet Pandora is where we are headed right Keith?" I ask as we walk towards the hangers, he just nods in response, I can already tell he is a man of few words, either way I'm actually quite exited, we Both get into the ship, before Keith starts to divert us through the wormhole. The entire journey there was just silence, we didn't talk to each other and i didn't want to, he was very intimidating and i didn't want to get onto his bad side. we soon land on a very white planet with no sign of activity, not even animals or creatures. It was just abandoned. we both got into some suits coran provided us as we make our way outside into the cold.

The icy air whistles around my ears, causing my skin to tingle and sting By the sudden cold. My Fingers and toes turned numb, but it's a good feeling. Snug inside my many layers of clothes, nothing can spoil the overwhelming feeling of being taken back to childhood, Especially with Pidge and her Brother. The urge to make a snowball is all consuming and I have to restrain myself from lying down on the floor and making a snow angel. Every step I take leaves a fresh, crisp footprint in the snow, as if I am the only person to have ever been here. Snowflakes fall gently from the sky, tickling the end of my nose and tempting me to stick out my tongue and have a taste.

"Lets start with the forest" i said as i pointed towards it "That's the only place where they could probably hide a massive lion" i said more to myself as we entered the Winter forest.

The branches of the trees bow with the heavy load they are carrying, bending towards the floor.  Everything glistens, as if a fairy has sprinkled her dust over the entire world. i seemed to have falled behind as Keith was ahead of me now. I took this as a chance to have some fun as i hide behind a tree making a snow ball, he must of realised i was gone as he started to call my name

"Y/N?" Keith questioned as he looked around "y/n? Where did you go?" he looked around more frantically with a look of concern, before he found himself being hit in the back of the head with a snow ball. I couldn't help but fall to the ground in a fit of laughter, i couldn't believe i actually sneaked up on him and got a head shot too, i didn't think it was going to work

"s-sorry K-Keith, i j-just had t-to" i was able to stammer out through my laughter as i got up wiping away a tear

"Ok ill be sensible now" i said as i opened my eyes and instantly regretted it as i was met with snow in my face and i fall back into the fluffy snow. I was confused with what happened as i whipped away the snow in my face and looked at Keith that had a smile on his face "Where even" he says giving a small chuckle and continues to walk. i couldn't help but laugh as i got back up and ran to his side.

"Lets find this lion" i said as i took the lead again

After around 10 minutes i finally started to feel a powerful energy guiding me towards the mountains behind the forest

"This way" i pointed as i picked up my speed, it couldn't be that far now

we Both stop in front a cave and look inside it, it was dark

"It should be in there" i said as i took a step forward, suddenly there was an unknown explosion what echoed across the land

"What was that?" i questioned as i looked back at Keith

he shrugged as he too looked around, he gaze fell above us as his face quickly changed

"Y/N! Move!" suddenly he run at me as he pushes us into the cave, we both harshly hit the floor as our only source of light disappears beneath the cave opening being covered by large amounts of snow.

there is a ringing sound in my ears as i open my eyes. all i could see was the black of darkness, i could feel someone moving me and leaning me on a wall
