"The Red Lion"

--Y/N POV--

we made our way to the control room and we can see pidge and shiro was already back talking to allura and coron. They strait away see my arm

"Y/N!" Pidge yelled as she ran over to you

"y/n? what happened?" shiro questioned as he made me sit down as he knelt beside my arm to examine it.

"Its a long story...But cutting it short i fell down a hole" i say sheepishly

"One that looked at least 7 feet" Keith added

shiro was about to speak until lance and hunk come in

"You made it." alura said happily to their arrival

"Yeah, just barely. That was a nightmare. I almost puked out there. I felt like Hunk!" he said as he pointed behind him at hunk

"Think how I felt. I am Hunk." as he looked back at lance

"Yeah. We had a tough time, too." pidge says to shiro nudging him.

"yeah...that could of gone better" I give a nervous chuckle as I look back at my now rebadged arm, what was still Keiths shirt.

once lance notices what I'm talking about he gives Keith a furious looking expression

"Did we find the Red Lion yet?" shiro asks, probably to try and divert the attention off me, which I appreciate.

"Allura just located it.There's a bit of good news and bad news.The good news is,the Red Lion's nearby! .The bad news is, it's on board that Galra ship now orbiting Arus. But wait, good news again.We're Arus!" he says as he gives lots of hand gestures

"They're here already?" shiro says, we all look at each other with a little worry.

"Yes. Guess my calculations were a bit off" he says as he rubs the back of his neck

we all start chatting about what we should do, lance and Keith where arguing about if we should stay or leave until shiro asks the princess. she says something about her father. she leaves the room and we all stay in silence when she is gone.  

she returns with some armour and her hair up "You Six paladins were brought here for a reason. Voltron Lions are meant to be piloted by you and you alone.We must fight and keep fighting until we defeat Zarkon. It is our destiny. Voltron is the universe's only hope.We are the universe's only hope."

"We're with you, Princess." shiro says as he steps forward and we all join

She then takes us to a room where there are lots of armoured suits, each corresponding to each lions colour. we all examine our own. to be honest mine looked quite big, with the shoulder more broader then mine.

"Princess, are you sure about this? They aren't exactly the best and brightest the universe has to offer." coran whispers to alura

"No, but they're all we've got." she says as she watches as looking in awe of our suits

"Boys and y/n, it's time to suit up!" she says this we all get into our suits. mine actually sort of fit except for my shoulders as mine where a lot smaller, however she has already said she will fix it for me later.

"The bayard is the traditional weapon of the Paladins of Voltron. It takes a distinct shape for each paladin. they change for everyone" allura said as each coloured Bayard flouted to their rightful owner.

Lance got a gun while Keith got a sword. Hunk got a machine gun the size of him and pidge got a small blade.

"Aw, you got a cute little Bayard." lance says as he teases pidge, he responds with electrocuting lance and he falls on the ground "Yeah, it is pretty cute." I giggle a little as I thought it was funny.
