"Family"

"Man, that was cool! I'm so charged up, I don't know if I'm going to be able to sleep tonight." lance says ecstatic.

"Not me. When my head hits the pillow, I'm going to be lights out." Hunk says yarning

"I just want you to know that I realized when we were in Voltron,we're brothers, man.You know? well and you Y/N Like, we're totally connected.No secrets, no barriers, no nothing. Brothers and sister all the way. I love you guys." lance says as he throws his arms around Keith and hunk

"G-forces mess with your head a little bit?" Keith says teasing lance

"Yeah, maybe a little. I don't know. It's been a tough few days." he says as he walks out with everyone else. I was about to leave myself when I realise pidge was still sitting in the lounge

"Going to bed, Pidge?" I say to her, she didn't seem to hear me what got me concerned. "Pidge?" I say again a bit more loudly. she jolts her head in my direction before realising what I said

"In a minute" she say as she seems to try and give a small cheery smile.

I was about to leaves when she shouts behind me "do you want me to redo that for you"

i turned around as she pointed to my arm where I still had a piece of Keith's top wrapped around it

"oh...I guess I forgot about that... do you mind?" i questioned as she gave me a big smile

"of course! follow me!"

she directs me to her room and sits me on her bed as she rummages though some draws trying not to trip over her wires spread across the room

She grabs a med kit and soon unwraps my arm and I can see a lot of dried blood, now I can see it in a little more detail that i had a massive skid mark and lots of patches of bruising mixed with a big cut, it was pretty nasty.

"this is going to sting" he proceeds to whip the blood and I flinch. it hurt. but I kept in a yelp.

time goes on and he seems to almost be done "hey you ok about today?, i know you where disappointed that we didn't find Mr Holt and Matt" I say which catches her attention as she looks quite sad

"I'm ok, i just...i thought they where so close you know?" she says as she slows her pace down wrapping my arm

i nod sadly as i sigh

"But i know we will find them, they are some of the most strong willed people i know!" i said as i pull her into a hug, it seemed to calm her. as we stayed there in silence for a while

"h-how do you do it?" she asked

"do what?" i questioned confused

"how do you deal with the fact...you don't have any family?" she asked what surprised you

It took me a second to think of a response "The feeling of being left alone scares me to death and i don't want to lose anyone else. But i have come to terms with the absence with the fact that they brought me there for a better life, and that everything that went down in their life was good! like you and matt"

she tightened her grip around me as she made a big smile, she also seemed to tear up

"Thanks for being my UN-biological sister" she said as we parted from the hug, those words made me smile.

"i guess you could say we Sisters are different flowers from the same garden" i finished

"Thanks y/n" she soon does the last part of cleaning my arm and bandaging it up.

"Night Katie" I said as u closed the door behind me and make my way to my room. where i fall onto my bed exhausted

The day had been crazy, But nothing could be crazier right?

suddenly their is light again and you hear everyone screaming your name. you see everyone in front of you looking worried. you stare at shiro before lifting your hand and cup his cheek..."shiro?" you say like a whisper. you can feel the tears beginning to roll down your face slowly again. you zoned everyone out as you look at your brother. you feel his warm tears on your hand. he is here. he is here with you right now. he safe, and your not alone. you quickly drag him into a embrace as you sink your head into his chest. You honestly don't know how you survived as long as you did without him. he says nothing and just allows you to hold him. you forget the others are watching you. but at the moment you didn't care. you was just glad that shiro was alive. That day was the most horrible experience you ever had. 

You soon lift your head to make eye contact with shiro, "don't leave me" you say quietly so only he can hear you, he tightens his grip around you, "I- I really missed you... there was not a day on the ship where I didn't think about you. how you would react of my disappearance. I just didn't realise how heartbroken you where, how shattered you looked" his voice was getting wobbly, but he kept his composure as beast as he could. As he said these words you realised what he meant. Everyone must of seen the same memory what was tormenting you on repeat. you quickly push shiro away and turn to the others. "I-" I didn't know what to say, neither did they. they where all giving me a sorry look, pidge seemed to be on the verge of tears herself. I wanted to get away, away from all the attention. I felt so uncomfortable. I just ran. like I always do to my problems.

I get to my room and close the door. slamming it as I fall to the ground, more tears threatening to fall down my cheeks onto my shirts. What was I suppost to say to them?
