--I'm up for a mini Q&A if you guys are haha--

The day dragged on slowly.

Your piano lesson was boring, as usual. You had grown up learning it, so by now you were an expert and in no need of extra lessons. Despite how much you wanted to tell your creepy teacher to go away, you didn't. There was a reputation to uphold and you would just keep it in...maybe you'd tell your father.

"Now- now then, Y/N. Let's play this piece here," he said in a raspy voice. He flicked through the book and placed the piece up on the piano. "Off you go then, darling."

You cringed at his words, but still started to play. You wanted your old teacher back. He was older than you still, but still respected you as a person and didn't stare too long at your corset. Your old teacher was easy to talk to and he was funny. He had to move away after the death of his wife. She died of a deadly disease and he just couldn't cope anymore with living in the same house.

That was a few years ago and ever since you had the creepy old man by the name of Mr Edwards. He insisted that you called him Harold, but you still refused and called him Mr Edwards. If there was anyone that you would want to call by first name, it would be Mr Smith, but he still made you call him by that title, saying that it isn't professional to call him by his first name.

There was a knock halfway through the song. Your fingers stopped moving, making Mr Edwards sulk. You glanced behind you to see who would be entering.

"Come on in then!" Mr Edwards called out angrily.

Mr Smith entered the room and bowed slightly, showing his respect. "Sorry to interrupt."

"Then don't," Mr Edwards huffed, ironically interrupting Mr Smith.

Mr Smith narrowed his eyes at the back of Mr Edwards head and then turned to look at you. "Lady Y/N, dinner is ready, it is the end of the lesson."

You smiled and quickly bid Mr Edwards farewell before exiting the music room.

Dinner passed pretty quickly. There wasn't that much chatter going on, so you all finished your food pretty quickly. However, there was a mention from your father about the on-going search for the killer. You kept quiet as he discussed the matter with your mother.

After dinner you retired to your room and changed into a nightgown. Settling down in bed, you continued to read your book until you heard your parents go to bed.

The sun had set and your candle was close to burning out. Still, you swung you legs over the side of the bed and grabbed the candle in its holder. From your room, you walked along the halls until you entered the library.

There was no longer any tea stain on the floor; Eve must have done a good job.

"So you came to bid me farewell?" Levi asked from behind you.

Spinning on your heels, you were suddenly face to face with him. He looked down at your flickering candle and gently blew it out.

"Why did you do that?" You whispered harshly, now you couldn't see anything.

"I just don't like light," he responded.

The sound of curtains opening caused you to turn around. Now you could see the moonlight spilling into the room and Levi had just pushed the window open.

"If you get footprints on that desk then my father will know something was going on," you said quickly as Levi went to place his foot on the desk.

He stopped and slowly lowered his foot to the floor, closing the window as he backed away from the exit. "Where are you suggesting that I should go?"

You stood next to him at the window and drew the curtains shut. "It's best to leave the way you came."

Levi pulled his head back after he peeped out of your curtains. He turned to you and nodded before pulling the curtains apart and pushing the door open. You joined him on the balcony and lent on the edge as he jumped over.

He stood on the ground below and looked up. You waved at him and gave a sweet, but slightly sad smile. This man was a possible killer, why did he interest you so much?

You gasped as he was suddenly handing off your balcony, two hands on the stone railing. He was very close and it caused you to stumble back a bit.

"You wish to come with me?" He questioned, already knowing your answer.

You took a small, hesitant step closer to him and nodded slowly. You wanted to meet whatever mysterious royal family he came from. The whole situation intrigued you.

He jumped and landed on the ground again. He then lifted his arms and gestured with his hands for you to jump.

"Are you crazy?" You asked with a harsh tone, "I can't jump in a dress."

"I won't see anything, I promise," he reassured you.

Taking a deep breath, you drew the curtains closed, closed the door and then stood at the edge of the balcony. You sat on the edge and slowly moved your legs over. Closing your eyes, you let yourself fall and sure enough, he caught you. Despite his size - he was only a few inches taller than you give or take - he was very strong.

Levi set you down on the floor and quickly moved into the forest with you following him. It was wrong to leave your family at night, but you would be back, wouldn't you. And besides, you had always wished for more, there had to be something more out there than boring piano lessons with creepy teachers and tiring old afternoon tea sessions with other women of your mother's age. There was nothing wrong with being curious.

It's not like you were hurting anyone, and you would be back soon.

What's wrong with exploring?

Levi suddenly yanked on your arm, making you fall over in the bushes. You squeaked and tried to resurface, but he pushed you down. He locked eyes with you and put a finger to his lips, telling you to be quiet.

Thoughts began to race through your head as you led within the vegetation outside your grand home. What if he really was the killer? What if he was planning to murder you?

You squeezed your eyes shut and tried not to let any tears fall.

After what seemed like forever, Levi slowly pulled you up and quickly moved deeper into the forest.

"I think someone saw us," he said quietly as you moved past some trees. Now you were truly deep in the forest.

You had once ventured as deep as you were now as a little child. You managed to set off a search party involving the whole village because you were lost and had no idea how to get back. Mr Smith was the one to find you and he gave you a sugar cube to make you feel better. That day you had ripped one of your best dresses that your father had ordered from France. However, none of your parents cared about the dress, they only cared about getting you home.

You went quiet as you thought of your parents. What would they do if you didn't make it back by morning?

"But it shouldn't matter too much," Levi continued, "I moved pretty quickly. Are you alright?"

You gave a small nod, "yes, but can we make it back by morning?"

He agreed to your request and then said something about needing to travel quickly.

You were suddenly on his back, his arms wrapped around your knees, supporting you and making sure that you wouldn't fall. His speed was unnatural as he raced through the forest and you were surprised that someone could move as fast as he could. Somehow, there was something comforting about the way you traveled. Oddly, you felt safe in the arms of a possible killer and the motion of travel nearly lulled you to sleep.

However, just as you were about to drift off, he skidded to a halt and set you down.

"We're here now."
