Yuri sat with his back against the bathroom door.
"Hey! You should come out we're gonna be late!"
  "No!"
"Are you straightening your sexuality because if it was your hair you'd be out by now!"
"Ha! My hair is naturally this emo!"
Mila bent down to where Yuri would be if he were sitting.
"Or are you just being chicken?"
  "I'm not being a chicken!"
  "Yuri."
  The room was silent.
"Listen to me."
Nothing.
"These people are like your parents, you're not gonna let some nerd with a motorcycle intimidate you out of going to this, are you?"
  "He's not a nerd! He's cool!"
  "So you'll come out?"
  "As if!"
  "This gives me no choice."
Yuri heard the lock being messed with and soon enough he was shoved out of the doorway.
"You could've just ripped it off the hinges."
  "Yeah but bills."
  "True."
"Now come on, we're going to be late."

...

Yurio looked up in uncomfortable shock to find Otabek greeting him in the parking lot.
"H-hi Becka, didn't expect to see you here!" Yuri gave his best and smoothest smile.
"Hi. Cool to see you too." Becka said, expressionless.
Yuri loosened up, "Yeah, uh, maybe we should head over."
  "Yeah."
Mila ran over to Yuri, "Nice going Casanova."

...

The usher gestured to two seats near each other in the front row. Viktor didn't really have a family, instead he seated close friends on his side.
Yuri took a seat akawardly, slightly leaning towards Otabek while Mila contently watched on his other side.
  The ceremony started.
Yuuri and Viktor stood at the small shrine.
The man officiating the wedding handed Yuuri and Viktor cups of sake.
Yuuri took three drinks, then Viktor. After words Yuuri's parents took three drinks each. Viktor didn't really have any parents, not anymore, so Yakov and Lilia were a stand in, taking drinks from the cup as well.
"Viktor Nikivorov, do you take Yuuri Katsuki as your lawfully wedded husband?"
  "Yes."
"Yuuri Katsuki, do you take Viktor Nikivorov as your lawfully wedded husband?"
  "I do."

...

Despite the private, traditional and classy wedding, the reception was absolutely wild. There was alcohol, and with that in the same room as Yuuri, something was going to go south. Yuri stood in a corner, half surprised that Yuuri had not challenged him to a dance off..... yet.
He sipped his drink, eyes on another corner, a corner with.... Oh no... Otabek and Mila. Yuri scooted closer, like a spy.
"Otabek, we need to talk." Mila said.
  "Talk?" Otabek replied.
  "Yeah."
  "Hm?"
"I want to break up with you."
  "Oh. Why?"
"It's just, I'm still young, you're still young, I'm like 80% sure I'm gay, I'm at least 70% sure you are and I almost died when I went on your motorcycle that one time. It's just not convinient." The air around them was tense, it was silent for a good two minutes.
  "Ok."
Yuri mentally gasped, and headed outside. Takin in the cold air, he felt his heart slow down.
Did Mila do this for me? Yuri thought, no, that's a selfish thought.

...

Yuri was out there for ten minutes already, and wasn't going in until more food was provided.
"Hey, you wanna talk?" Otabek asked, coming out onto the balcony.
  "Kinda." Yuri replied.
"How have you been lately?" Otabek asked.
"Meh. Like, If you put a frog in a blender then gave them candy later, that's my level of meh."
  "Alright."
  "Hey, Beka,"
  "Yeah?"
"Why did Mila break up with you?"
"You heard her reasoning, didn't you?"
Yuri's palms became sweaty from holding on too tight to the railing.
Otabek looked down at the trees below, "Hope we can stay friends though."
"Speaking of friends..." Yuri turned to look at Otabek.
"I have one, that I kinda really like."
   "What do you mean?"
"Like in a different, more... concerning way."
"Oh, like me and Mila were?"
  "Yeah."
  "Spill the tea, dude."
"It's..." Yuri made a flailing hand gesture towards Otabek.
  "Oh." Otabek said.
"Ohhhhhh" he said, as it hit him.
  "Y-you, you mean?"
  "Yeah."
"...."
  "..."
"Well I like that way too."
