"Since we're dating..."  Yuri said, laying on the couch, FaceTiming Otabek. "Maybe we should go out on a date.."
"I mean, I coming to Russia soon," Otabek said,  "Maybe we can meet up and do something."
  "That would be great!"

...

Otabek met Yurio at the airport.
"Beka! Where are you staying?" Yuri asked.
"A hotel, in the city, it's pretty cheap." Otabek replied.
"I can stay over if you want?" Yuri jokingly shoved himself up against his boyfriend's/bestfriend's shoulder.
Otabek pushed him off, "Uh, no thank you. You can stay at your house, where your grandpa won't have a heart attack worrying about you."
"You're no fun." Yuri turned around to face him. "So, what do you want to do tommorow?"
  "It's a surprise."
  "Bekaaa! Teelll meeee!"
"Better call the police, apparently I'm dating a five year old."
  "Bekkaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
Otabek bent down to meet him, "I'll tell you tommorow, ok?"
  "Alright, I better like it."
"When do you want to meet?"
"A hah! You didn't make reservations! A clue!"
  "Yeah. What time?"
Yuri on thought it over for a second, "7:00."

...

They checked into the hotel and Otabek laid his stuff on the bed.
"So what do you want to do?"
  "How about watch a movie."
They watched The Aristocrat's and then The Cat Returns. This ended when Yurio had to go home, as most people do.

...

At 6:00 PM the next day, Yuri got ready. He took a shower, making sure he didn't smell stupid, brushed his hair, making sure he didn't look stupid, got dressed, making sure he still didn't look stupid, and screamed into the void for good luck.

...

Yuri met Otabek right outside his hotel.  "You ready to go?" he asked. Otabek nodded.
They walked awhile through a street, the sky was a lovely pinkish-orange. A woman jogged past them with a dog, a  borzoi to be specific.
They reached a little café with a warm, inviting light. Board games were set on tables and patrons sat with their drinks playing.
"I'll go order a drink, do you want anything?" Otabek asked.
Of course he fucking wanted something, he hadn't eaten or drank anything since when he left! He was feeling too akaward to complain so he just said "An ice tea please."
After Otabek ordered the drinks, they sat down play a game of Scrabble.

...

Otabek walked Yuri home, the street illuminated by mere streetlamps.
"So..." started Yuri, "Did you have fun?"
  "Yeah." Otabek answered. "Did you?"
Yuri nodded frantically as they got to his front door.
  "Hey, Beka?"
  "Mhmm?"
  "Can I kiss you?"
  "Yeah."
It was soft, not like a cat, but, like a gentle tap.
  "Thanks." said Yuri, going inside.
As he got inside, he sloped down on the door and screamed as loudly as he could without waking up his grandfather.
