Chapter 3

Still Keith's P.O.V

I didn't know how to respond to that obvious statement, so I just stood with my mouth open.
"I think we are aware of what stage in are lives we are at!" Lance said breaking the silence.
Aidan was still in shock at the sight of us. He put his hand through his scruffy hair "but, your supposed to be 36" at this everyone's mouth opened. We were 'supposed' to be 36, what does that even mean?
"What are you talking about? We are 'supposed' to be 36? I'm pretty sure I'm 'supposed' to be 17 and lance is 'supposed' to be 16, because that is our age." I said getting quite annoyed at this kid that wasn't making any sense. Lance had started continuously poking me whispering my name into my ear, which I did not take very well. "WHAT?" I said as I turned around to face lance. I immediately regretted it, I really shouldn't have yelled. He didn't really do anything that needed to be yelled at.
He looked a little shocked at my response "HEY, you don't have to yell."
That was the last straw "WHAT DON'T I HAVE TO YELL ABOUT LANCE,THIS KID IS STATING THE OBVIOUS AND TELLING ME WHAT AGE I AM 'SUPPOSED' TO BE, AND YOU START CONTINUOUSLY POKING ME IN THE BACK. SO I THINK I HAVE THE RIGHT TO YELL!"
Apparently that was the last straw for lance as well "NO YOU DON'T. I WAS GOING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING THAT COULD BE HELPFUL, BUT NEVER MIND I'LL JUST LEAVE YOU TO FIGURE IT OUT ON YOUR OWN!"
"Really, you guys are fighting. AGAIN" Shiro said sounding really bored.
At the same time we said "YES!"
Shiro did not look pleased. "That's it, Keith go stand over there!"
I stopped glaring at lance and turned to face Shiro "what!"
He looked extremely serious "you heard me. GO!"
At this lance was thrilled "ha!"
Shiro drew his attention to lance "and you go stand over there!"
Lance's face dropped "whaaa! Why?"
Shiro didn't answer, he just pointed at the corner.
And that was my queue to laugh, I turned my head to face lance "ha!"
Shiro gave me a 'turn-around' sort of look. I turned back around and put my head on the wall.
"Who's turn is it to watch them" I heard Shiro say.
"Oh great, it's me." Said a voice that I understood to be pidge.
I heard the door open behind me. "Great, pidge you stay hear while we go chat to Aidan.

Lance's P.O.V

Great, this is just great. This is so annoying, I haven't been sent to a corner since I was seven and was fighting with my brother. I had lost track of time, I was lost in my thoughts. All of a sudden I felt a hand on my shoulder, it scared the hell out of me. I turned around "hey, what the heck!-" I was cut off as he covered my mouth with his hand, and shushed me. Then I realised it was Keith "Be quiet,pidge is right there."
He nodded towards the door. Signalling he wanted to sneak past pidge, who was wearing headphones and in one of her 'zones'. It was quite easy, pidge make no sign of noticing us leaving. We could have walked out singing at the top of are lungs and she probably wouldn't notice.

Anyway, once we got out we decided to go to the lounge, that was probably were they were talking to Aidan. As we were walking towards the lounge Keith said something I did not expect "lance, I'm sorry"
I stopped immediately. "Excuse me?" I said shocked
"I shouldn't have yelled at you back there. I guess I was just freaked out."
I just stood there stunned, I was speechless.
