Chapter 9

Aidan's P.O.V

it took me around 2 minutes to realise my parents where asleep. I only realised when I heard lance snore loudly. to be honest I was shocked he hadn't snored before in the 2 minutes, back home I could hear him snoring from down the corridor continuously, it was extremely annoying. I was getting I bit hungry so I decided to pause the movie and get a snack. Although I had already finished all the ones I got earlier so I went back to the kitchen for more. When I got to the kitchen hunk was already there. "Oh, Hey huncle."
He turned to me looking confused "excuse me, what?"
Then I realised he hadn't heard that nickname before "Oh, right. It's my nickname for you back home. It's a mix between hunk and uncle."
He seemed to like it. "Oh, sweet. Anyway what can I do for you?"
I walked over to the cupboard and grabbed a plate "Well, I was just gonna get something to eat."
He nodded "right. Where's Keith and lance?"
I turned to face him "their asleep on the couch watching a movie."
he gasped in delight "oh my god. Really?"
"Ye" I said turning back to the food goo dispenser
He looked exited "can I see?"
I was confused on why. But whatever "um, ye sure"
He put his plate in the sink "cool, I'll go get pidge. She will want to see this."
He rushed out the door towards pidge's room. I walked back to the lounge to find hunk and pidge already there somehow, they where at the door peering into the lounge trying not to laugh. I joined them. "Hey guys." They didn't even glance at me they just waved to show they heard me. They had informed me that ever since the garrison they had been rivals, so this was new to them. I even saw them arguing when I first arrived. It was hilarious to see them get sent to the corner because that was normally me and nerrissa sent there by either Keith, lance, shiro or allura. Pidge normal encourages us and hunk just leaves the room.

Suddenly allura's voice boomed through the speakers. "Paladins an unknown object is heading towards us. Get to the hull immediately!" The noise woke Keith and lance up with a start. Hunk and pidge shared looks of disappointment, but turned and ran anyway. Keith and lance, looking tired and confused, but got to their feet anyway and walked towards the door, I followed after them.
