Caroline's head rolled to the side as she slowly opened her eyes to meet a pair of very green ones looking back at her. Her body was aching in every possible way and as she lifted her hands to get up from the chair, she groaned in pain as the vervain ropes burned her skin.

"Well, look who woke up." she heard a deep voice say and it took her a moment to register that it was Dean who had spoken.

Her eyes slowly searched the room and she realized that she was inside the TARDIS, tied to a chair with vervain ropes. When she looked down on her arms she realized why she barely could move a muscle; a needle was in her hand and through it a steady stream of vervain water was filling her veins.

She barred her fangs at the man on her right, just then realizing that it was the Doctor and a maniacal laugh escaped her, when she saw him back away.

That stupid alien man should have run the moment he laid eyes on me.

"Hey princess! Keep those fangs to yourself." Dean told her and her head whipped to her left, where he stood, pointing at her with his gun.

"Really? Silver bullets? What do you think I am? A werewolf?" Caroline laughed and a malicious smirk spread on her lips, when she saw the shock on Dean's face.

"How did you know?" he asked warily as he put away the gun and found a wooden stake from inside of his jacket. Caroline eyed it boringly before she turned towards the Doctor, who was looking at her with a mixture of sadness and horror on his face.

"She can read minds." the Doctor explained, when the blonde didn't answer.

"Close your mouth, Dean. You look like an idiot." Caroline said without looking at the hunter as she continued to stare at the Doctor. When the Doctor didn't seemed to get scared of the sadistic smile on her lips, she rolled her eyes and turned her attention back to Dean.

"I'm hungry." Caroline whined, knowing how much it would irritate the eldest Winchester. As predicted his face turned into stone as his jaw clenched and his eyes hardened.

"Live with it." Dean told her, not realizing the contradiction of his words. The smirk on Caroline's lips dropped and she sent him his best puppy eyes, which definitely made him uncomfortable.

"Forget it, sister." Dean said and looked at the clock on his wrist impatiently as if he was waiting for something or someone. Where was Sasquatch by the way?

"Didn't your parents teach you any manners?" Caroline asked mockingly and a devilish smile spread on her lips, when she saw the short glimpse of sadness in Dean's eyes. "Oh, that's right. Mommy and daddy are dead. You know, I hear fire is the worst way to die. Your blood starts boiling as your skin slowly is roasted. I heard someone say it smells like bacon, but that's just-"

"Stay the fuck out of my head!" Dean screamed into her face as he was suddenly standing right in front of her, his eyes wide and panicked. Fury took over his features, when he saw the smirk on Caroline's lips that was quickly replaced by a scream of agony, when Dean drove the wooden stake into her thigh.

Caroline's head slumped forward, making her hair fall in front of her face and she gritted her teeth in pain. The Doctor was yelling at Dean, who had no regret whatsoever about what he had just done.

When Caroline slowly lifted her head, tears were streaming down her face and she looked around the TARDIS with wide eyes, making the men stare at her curiously.

"Doctor?" Caroline whispered in a horrified voice and she watched how relief seemed to flow through him. "I'm... I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to. Please forgive me. It hurts so much, Doctor. Help me."
