We rest for a bit against a giant boulder that sits between the trees. I lean my head back against the hard yet smooth surface of the rock. Just as I'm about to close my eyes, I see a blue light sparkle from the corner of my eyes. I turn and see the light again; only it's coming from a specific spot on the rock. I stand up and Zeke turns to me. Seeing my curious and confused expression, he stands up too, seeing the light as well.

I lean in closer to get a better look and see a weird symbol. It looks like two lines curving together. One's a red color while the other is a blue color. "What is it?"

"I don't know." I reach up and softly touch it and a bright light suddenly flashes in front of us. It was so bright; I had a close my eyes and turn away. When it died down, I reopen my eyes to see the symbol slowly fade and disappear. I jump when I hear a soft rumbling noise and I back away until I bump into something hard. I only took a quick look to see that it was Zeke, but my attention was more on the rock wall splitting in front of us.

I start seeing a passageway when the door opens and felt the urge to go in, so I did. I start walking forward without saying anything and Zeke follows behind me. It's narrow so we can't walk side by side, but soon it grew wider. The walls are made of stacked stones and there are torches perched on the walls. One by one, they light themselves up and after we pass by, they get blown out by nothing. I don't feel a single hint of a breeze or whisper of wind. There's dust on the stones that make up the wall and none flew off. Not even when we passed them.

"Where are we?" We both look around for a hint of where it might be or what it even is, but I only came up with the fact that it's a secret tunnel hiding within a giant rock and runs underground. "I think it's a shortcut," I suggest.

Before long, we suddenly hit a dead end. "Well, that was pointless." Zeke just turns around and starts to walk away, but I stay. He only took a few steps before noticing that I wasn't following. "Eira, there's nothing here." I search all along the wall for any clues. "We thought the same thing about the boulder and look what happened." I hear him sigh and start to help me look.

I smile, knowing that he could've easily just used his powers to take me back. We look at each and every stone for any hint of a light or symbol, but couldn't find any. Not until I press my hand against the stone wall. I feel something suddenly move under my soft touch and I jump back when the wall starts to move. "How did you do that?"

"I don't know. I just touched the wall." The wall slowly moves like the last time but instead of more stone halls, we get a brightly lit up room. We both stare in shock at it. It looks like a secret library of some sort. There are so many shelves and books in the room surrounding a roundtable with weird carvings in it. I step inside and see a large window overlooking the ocean. I can hear the waves crashing against the rocks. "What is this?"

"I think we're both under the ground and it looks like we're on a cliff underground. We weren't very far from here. I could hear the ocean back there." I look around and I see a few doorways that could lead to different areas. It looks similar to a mansion. There's electricity running through this secret place too.

I look up at the ceiling to see a painting sharing a story. What takes me by surprise though is a small light flying by. I gasp and look around for it. "Did you see that?"

"See what?" Then I saw it again. My head whips around, looking for it again. I see it again, but this time, it stops in front of me. I stare wide-eyed at the small looking light who also happens to be a tiny looking human. I suddenly jump away and scream when the tiny human grew and I could get a better look at them, or her rather.

She's wearing a plain white shirt with a loose pink cardigan and a pair of jeans.  Her strawberry blond hair is in a ponytail, and she has a stem or vine as a headband. Her cheeks are a natural pink and her blue eyes sparkle in the light like sapphires. "What are you doing here?" She crosses her arms and her eyes narrow at me. "I'm sorry, we just found it."
