Amnesia

"Pepper?" Tony ask.

"yeah she's your assistant." Bruce replied. Tony nodded slightly, he caught sight of a sign. he poked Bruce, then pointed at the sign. "Burger King." Bruce told him.

"Burger King." Tony nodded slightly.

"you could sound it out." Bruce said. Tony looked around at the others and shook his head.

"no." Tony muttered. Bruce seemed to realize how tense Tony was, he was anxious when the others came up in topic. why wasn't he anxious or nervous with Bruce? maybe because he was talking to him. he shot a look to the others and motioned towards Tony, who looked like he wanted the seat to just eat him so he wouldn't be here.

"so... Tony where've you been?" Clint ask.

"Kolkata." Tony replied. "at least thats what they told me." Tony added.

"I spent some time there." Bruce replied.

"I don't want to be here." Tony muttered. Bruce tilted his head.

"what did he say?" Clint ask.

"he doesn't want to be here." Bruce said slightly louder. he looked at Tony. "why don't you want to be here Tony?" Bruce ask.

"because I just don't!" Tony hissed covering his ears.

"oh wait his ears are sensitive." Bruce said.

"huh?" Steve ask.

"his ears. Phil warned me they were sensitive. it's why they didn't have a heart monitor in the room. the beeping." Bruce said. "all the sounds. they're bothering his ears." Bruce said pulling Tony close. he pulled his head down onto his chest and covered Tony's other ear gently.

"sensitive hearing?" Clint ask.

"yeah Phil pulled me aside to tell me about his sensitive ears and nose. he also mentioned something about him not liking to be alone in the dark." Bruce said. Tony curled up against Bruce, holding onto him tightly. Bruce used his free hand to roll up the windows up. "Happy order quickly. we need to get Tony back to the tower the loud noises are bothering Tony." Bruce said.

"I'll go inside instead then." Happy said getting out. he got out and went inside.

"Steve give me your jacket." Bruce said. Steve passed his jacket over to Bruce and Bruce put it up over the closest window to block the sound a little. "Tony is that better?" Bruce ask. Tony pulled back a little and listened. he nodded after a second and sat back all the way as Happy came back. Happy took them home.

*the tower*

Bruce and Steve walked one on each side of Tony.

"welcome home Sir." Jarvis said. Tony jumped crying out at the loud and sudden voice. he dropped to the floor covering his ears.

"Jarvis, lower your voice some. his ears are extremely sensitive." Bruce said kneeling down.

"what the hell was that!?" Tony cried, holding his head.

"thats Jarvis, remember? he runs the building. it's okay, he didn't know about your ears." Bruce assured him. Tony nods slightly letting Bruce and Steve pull him to his feet.

"I apologize Sir. I was unaware." Jarvis said quieter this time. Tony nodded slightly.

"okay come on guys. lets go eat in the living room." Bruce said. he took Tony's arm leading him to the living room slowly, letting the man look around.

"I'm supposed to be like some big incredible genius right?" Tony ask.

"yup." Bruce said.

"then.... shouldn't I have something made for amnesia?" Tony ask. Bruce paused.
