I decide to head towards Kassie's house now rather than later as it was only a few minutes away. The guys are probably still at my house and I need some peace and quiet so Kassie's seems like the perfect spot since she's an only child. I arrive at her house and notice a sleek yellow jaguar in the driveway but think nothing of it assuming Kassie's parents have a friend over.I let myself in using the key hidden under her welcome mat and grab an apple out of the fruit bowl on the dining table. I settle onto the couch and take a bite out of my apple before pulling out my phone to text Kassie that I came by early. I get up to pour myself a glass of water but notice a shadow coming from under the door of Kassie's bedroom. My heart rate begins to speed up at the thought of a possible intruder so I carefully make my way over to the door.
I peer through the cracked door to get a better look without drawing any attention to myself. Two figures appear in my line of sight and I instantly regret being curious. The apple slips from my grasp, bruising against the hardwood floor. She pushes him against the dresser and deepens the kiss allowing his hands to roam across her body. "What the hell are you doing?" I shout and they quickly untangle themselves from one another.
"Ems I can explain," Kassie mutters and reaches out to me, but I back away. "Don't come near me." I spit out causing her to draw away from me. I try to search her eyes for a sliver of remorse after what she did but there is nothing.
"Em, please just let me explain," She begs. I quickly shake my head and rub my temples, as a headache was coming on. "The only person that you need to explain yourself too is Tucker." I quietly inform her with disappointment written across my face.
"You better explain to Tucker what you've been doing behind his back for god knows how long, or I will!" I shout, my hands curling into fists. She falls into a heap on her bed beginning to finally realize what she had done. He leans against the wall and lets out a sigh crossing his arms over one another. "I can not even fathom what made you think this was a good idea," I tell him, clenching my fists hard enough that my nails begin to dig into my skin.
Kassie begins to mutter "I'm sorry" to no one in particular, holding her head in her hands. I scoff, "It's too late for apologies Kansas." I hobble out of the bedroom and head straight for the front door. Cheating is a choice, not a mistake and she wasn't sorry until she got caught. The worst part of it is that I thought Sebastian was an all-around good guy.
