Arenia jumped up, brushing sand off her back. "Hi, Agent X,"
"Hello," Agent X said, walking away and expecting Arenia to follow, which she did. Arenia quicky linked her and Agent 34's minds and shot a message to him: Wake up!
She smiled hesitantly as Agent X looked back at her. As they walked over a sand dune, Arenia saw Agent 34 sitting up and rubbing his eyes.
Once they were out of sight from the Destigems, Agent X placed her hands on Arenia's shoulders. "Tell me everything about them," Agent X's masked voice said in a commanding tone.
"What do you want to know?" Arenia asked quickly.
"Weaknesses, plans, everything," Agent X said. "I need to know how to destroy them so Braunick can kill them himself. He gave me direct orders not to kill any of them, especially Agent 34. He needs Agent 34 for his plan. To hell for the others, but we need them alive so 34 doesn't suspect anything."
"You didn't say that about Ismara," Arenia said coolly.
"The old Ismara is dead," X snapped. "And you're with us now. You don't need to worry about old friends. We are your friends now,"

Agent 34 slowly climbed the sand dune he saw Arenia and Agent X climb over. He slowly walked up it, falling to his hands and knees as he did so he wouldn't be seen as easily. He pulled his wand out of his pocket and prepared a spell that would temporarily paralyze Agent X's body.
He peaked his head over the sand and spotted Agent X and Arenia talking up ahead. He watched them, Agent X beginning to pace around Arenia intimidatingly. Agent 34 was surprised X hadn't seen him yet.
After watching them for a while, Agent 34 yelled a battle cry and shot his spell straight towards Agent X. "X marks the spot!"
Agent X froze in its spot and 34 leaped over the dune, kicking sand behind him. Arenia tackled Agent X to the ground, quickly pulling a rope out of the bag that was on her back. She tied it around the armored warrior but knew it wouldn't hold for long.
"Remove the gems!" Arenia cried. Agent 34 nodded quickly, entering his enemy's mind. He was immediately expelled from the mind. "I can only cast a spell to paralyze X's body, not the mind! X expelled me from it's mind!"
"Then paralyze it's mind!" Arenia shouted.
"That's not possible! I tried! Either that or I can't do it!" Agent 34 said.
"Fine! I'll do it!" Arenia said, letting Agent 34 watch their enemy. "It'll let me in it's mind!"
Arenia shut her eyes and linked Agent X and her minds. She was allowed entry to the mind quickly. What's going on? Arenia asked quickly, pretending like she had no idea what was going on.
Someone is attacking us, Agent X replied, a female voice instead of a dark and deep one.
Most of Agent X's memories were locked up, tied together by a rusty metal chain. Arenia didn't even try to read her memories in fear that there would be bad consequences.
Arenia spotted the gems instantly. Two swirling masses in the center of her minds. One a giant green swirling cloud, another a yellow one. A yellow gem and a green one.
Arenia moved over to it. What's this? She asked.
My gems, but there's no time to discuss this, Agent X said. We need to figure out a way to kill our attacker.
But it's most likely a Destigem, Arenia said, moving slowly to the gems.
Would we rather die? X said quickly.
But you were ordered not to kill them. And, what did they do to us?
They paralyzed us. I'm trying to reactivate our bodies but I'm failing in spells. Whoever casted this paralyzation casted a strong spell.
Agent X's mind fumbled around a little bit as Arenia eased herself towards the swirling masses that were X's gems.
God! I can't get out of this temporary paralyzation. Agent X shouted in her mind. Arenia then quickly dashed to the gems in Agent X's mind and began to work her magic. With power of will and heart, I order this curse to part! She shouted in Agent X's mind.
Agent X was instantly alerted. What are you doing, idiot? I have no curses!
Suddenly, the green swirling mass started to disappear and Agent X noticed instantly. No, no, NO! Get away from that!
Agent X's orb shot towards Arenia's. They collided and began to mentally battle, Arenia working to remove the gems.
Bastard! You're a traitor! X shouted, casting a spell towards Arenia.
I was never with you to begin with! Arenia said, quickly dodging the attack.
Agent X's mind shook as the green gem was removed. You are a bastard! I am going to kill you! I don't care what Braunick does to me!
Agent X slammed into Arenia and threw their orb's to the bottom of her mind. You're dead, kid!
As far as I know, Arenia said quickly, preparing to mutter a spell. I'm older than you! You do NOT call me a kid! Arenia shot a ball of red energy at X's orb. Agent X knocked away from Arenia quickly and in pain.
Arenia quickly went to the swirling yellow mass that was Agent X's gem and continued to remove it.
Please! Agent X said. Don't do this!
Too late, someone said from the back of Agent X's mind. A purple orb emerged from the shadows.
Agent 34! Arenia shouted.
The purple orb rammed itself into Agent X and held it on the ground. Arenia, please! X cried.
The power within hurts and damages, and I wish to fix it. With my power I chose to remove this curse. Leave this soul and never return! Arenia shouted.
Agent X screamed as the last swirling gem slowly shrunk and disappeared from her mind. Bastards! I'll kill you!
Too late, Arenia said. Now, we have the upper hand.
Incorrect, Agent X asked quickly. Braunick is about to get the final gems this very moment. You can prevent me, but you can't prevent him.
Both Agent 34 and Arenia ignored her soon exited X's mind. When Arenia opened her eyes, two gems were at her feet: green and yellow. She picked them up and told Agent 34 to bring them to Marque and Sercon before Agent X woke up. He sprinted back as fast as he could, nearly tripping as he went.
Agent X slowly shook as she woke up. "You will pay for this," it said, standing up slowly. Arenia didn't stop the armored beast.
Agent X launched at Arenia, but Arenia just shoved the warrior down. "Get out of here."
Agent X quickly picked up its sword and began fleeing. Arenia wasn't gonna go after it, Agent X was no longer a threat now that it had no power.
Agent 34 returned and both of them watched Agent X run away in terror as the sun rose. "We did it!" Arenia cried, pulling Agent 34 into a deep hug. He hugged her back as they watched the sun rise above the desert, heat slowly returning.
"We did it," Agent 34 said with pride and joy, a feeling he hadn't had in a long time. He hugged her tighter as the sun shone upon them.
