"What! Defense against the dark arts is the most important subject now that Voldemort is back!" Harry told Professor McGonnagal's retreating back. "Wandless Combat is more important. What if your wand was broken?" she responded. Harry turned back to Ron. "This is outrageous! And double professors?" Harry said. "Well, the first class is Wandless Combat with the Slitherins. I guess we'll find out then. Oh, do you think that Nico and Will are more then friends? Nico only talks to Will or Neville or Luna or Hermione. But mostly Will." "Huh." (finally Ron makes a correct deduction without Hermione.:))

They left the Great Hall a few minutes early. But Nico and Will were already there. Nico was getting yelled at by Will. Harry put a finger to his lips, signaling for him to be quiet. "Deathbreath! I told you no more darkness-y magic!" "Relax Solace. Remember the weird guy named Elwin (bonus points if you know who Elwin is!) that gave me a weird bracelet that will keep me from dissolving into shadows." "The guy who said that he has a patient who gets into weirder scrapes then you?" "His weird device kept me from dissolving, right?" "I'll let you off this time Death Boy." 

When the class finally started, Professor Jackson said "Any volunteers for sparring?" Draco, Nico, Neville and Hermione's hands shot up. "Draco, Nico, you spar. You both have a sword. Also I know you are well matched. Hermoine, I know you prefer dual blades of any kind, and Neville, you're good with a spear." Professor Chase said. Draco and Nico fought like demons. The sparing match ended with Nico's sword at Malfoy's throat. "You've gotten rusty, Draco." Nico teased. "No. you've gotten better." "Why can't it be both?" "Okay, Nico, Will, Hermione, Draco, will you help people find the best weapon for them? Wise Girl, can you get Luna? After everyone has a weapon, we'll be moving outside." "Sure." Professor Chase ran off to find Luna. The rest of the people he called went to one of the buckets of weapons. People went to the buckets one by one, testing out weapons. When one of them found a good weapon, the person in charge of that weapon told them to stand at the far wall and wait until everyone had gotten a weapon. Harry was given a dagger and Ron was given a Ukulele for some strange and unknown reason. "What am I supposed to do with this?" "I don't know. Someone has defeated a nest of giant and incredibly dangerous ants with one so...?" Will said. (anyone else think that it's depressing that Camp half blood's best healer is a sixteen year old?) "Okay then." 

A few minutes later, they were all outside and Professor Jackson, Nico, Will, Luna, Hermione and Professor Chase were teaching them to use their various weapons. Nobody had a scythe though there were a few in there but no one seemed surprised. When Ron asked Professor Chase about it she said, that scythes take years to be able to use well. The day dragged along with Nico, Draco, Luna, Will and Hermione being absent from classes because they were helping the new professors get everyone a weapon. They got to keep the weapon from class as they shrunk down into things like rings, pendants or bracelets. Harry kept listing reasons why the new students could be death eaters. Ron agreed and even added reasons of his own. When Ron went to bed, there was a kitten on Will's head while he was sleeping. Ron had forgotten about the whole Nico can turn into a skeleton kitten thing so he didn't think much of it. Nor did Harry or he would of come up with more reasons why they are death eaters. 

Today at school something bad happened. A girl in my class thought she was choking but actually water went down the wrong pipe and she kept coughing and coughing. She's fine now but it was really scary.
