Don't play the song

Next morning
Ashly opened her eyes and tried to stretch her body. When she noticed she couldn't move she looked down and saw an arm around her waist. She looked behind her and laughed lightly.

She called out his name and didn't get an answer. She called him again, this time louder and still didn't get an answer. She didn't want to do what she was about to do but she knew she had no other choice. She cleared her throat and looked back at him. Then lifted the cover up to move back until her bottom was on him and when she was she started moving it the best way she could.

"Mm."

She heard behind her.

"You always did try to get something started when folks were sleep."

Ashly laughed and turned on her side facing him.

"I wasn't trying to get anything started. I was trying to wake you up so you could let me go."

"Well you woke me and him up so I hope you're happy." He replied as he walked to the bathroom.

"Happy that you let me go? Oh yes, I am so happy."

She giggled and laid back down until he exited out of the bathroom.

"Why you didn't go in the guest bathroom instead of mine and speaking of guest, why you didn't sleep in the guest bedroom?"

"One because your bathroom is right there and I couldn't walk to the guest one and two because I get lonely in there by myself."

Ashly got out of the bed and walked towards him.

"Aw, poor baby." She touched the sides of his face and pouted.

"If I was you I would get used to it because as long as you're in this house that's where you're going to be sleeping."

After she told him that, she patted his face and walked into the bathroom. Keith stood there with his mouth opened and blinked his eyes. After standing there for a minute he went into the guest bedroom to get dressed and start his day.

Once they were both dressed, Keith went to his parents house and Ashly went to go visit her band mates at the studio.

"So did you two talk?"

"So did you two talk?"

Ashly shook her head as she looked off to the side. The girls looked at her and smacked their lips.

"Y'all are really bad at communication."

"Really bad."

"I know it's bad Shy but how do you put what you feel into words? How do you tell the person, who is your best friend and was your first real love how you feel towards them but you can't and don't want to love them because of what they did to you? What they did hurt you so bad that you honestly can't even love them the same, you can't look at them the same. But you let them stay at your house because you feel some kind of peace with them that takes all of your troubles and pain away. They make you feel free. They make you feel happy. But they don't make you feel that love that you once had for them."
