After a few weeks in the hospital and few more visits from Erik I finally was able to go home. I was still a little bit dizzy and my head was still hurting but I was fine. My legs were really weak and it got harder to walk every minute. So I stumbled out of the hospital without Erik knowing I was because I didn't wanted to wait for him and I hadn't his number to tell him. So I just left the hospital without giving him any information. But he probably knew where I lived anyways so I wasn't concerned.
I wasn't looking anywhere while I went out of the hospital I just looked onto my feet watching if they were still working. They sometimes did but they got weaker and I stumbled a bit. And because I was so concentrated looking on my steps I walked into someone. And that someone was Erik looking confused at me. "Cha... Charles? What are you doing here? Are you alright?" He asked and put his hands on my shoulders. "Yeah I am alright. The doctors said I could go. So I guess I am on my way home now" I looked at him with a slight smile on my face feeling a little bit bad not telling him anything or waiting for him. "Sorry I didn't tell you" I said and then my legs got really weak and suddenly my knees stopped working. I just fell in Erik's arms. Being embarrassed I tried to get up myself but it didn't quit work and he had to help putting me on my feet again. "Sorry" I mumbeld looking on the floor. "It's alright Charles, it is not your fault. Should I bring you home?" We were still standing in the middle of the hospital hallway and I nooded. "I was taking the bus. But I don't really have cash with me so it might make more sense to go with you, thanks" I stumbled embarrassed. "But you don't even know where I live, right? Or do you remember my ID so clearly?" I asked confused. He nooded with a small smile. Then he took my hand pulling me in the direction the parking lot.
We walked a while to his car and my legs got weaker every step. I got slower and he took my arm pulling my body up so I didn't fall down. I looked at him smiling a bit feeling embarrassed and thankful at the same time. "I don't know if I'd be alive without you. Thank you Erik". He looked at me and squeezed my arm "You know what Charles, I'll always do that for you even though we still don't quite know eachother but I want to be your friend. I hope you don't mind if I help you in the car?" I blushed being not sure about what he just said. "Yeah... Yes I guess, thanks". He grinned at me with his shark-smile then helping me into his grey car. He put my stuff in the trunk and then sat next to me turning on the radio. "You like that song?" He asked seeming a bit insecure as a few classical sounds came out of the radio. I wasn't expecting him to listen to stuff like that but it was nice and relaxing. "Yeah it's nice. Should we but my address in your GPS?" I still wasn't sure how he knew my address but he shook his hand and stared driving. "I guess we'll find it" he smiled and raised an eyebrow. "Probably" I said closing my eyes and enjoying the music and his quiet humming.
