Chapter 46

They were at the reception and the people started filling in. Finn and Rachel was seated at the main table with each other's parents, bridesmaids and the best man

The party had started and they began to order their food and drinks. Carole was in so much awe that she sat and tried to wrap her head around this celebration

This was one thing she never thought she would be alive to see, she thought it was a miracle... people may not think it as that but for her it was a dream come true

Her thoughts got interrupted by finn standing up and tapping his glass with a teaspoon

She looked up and listened to the speech that her only son was going to make, he looked down to her and smiled

"Hello everyone... I'm not really that good at speeches but here we go. I'm now officially married to the most beautiful girl in the world... sorry mom" he said

The crowd chuckled as well as Carole

"I love you Rachel and I want many happy years with you as possible.... and you mom, I want a million amazing days with you and Chloe" he smiled

"Thanks a lot everyone for coming!" Finn said and handed the microphone to puck

"No sex jokes puck" he whispered to his best man who now had the microphone

Puck rolled his eyes at him and pout the microphone to his lips and began talking

"Hey! Well im sure everyone knows that Finn made a huge mistake on asking me to be his best man because I'm completely clueless on what to say about these two" puck started and laughed nervously

"I've known Finn for a long time and his mom was my mom, that's how close we were... we kinda drifted apart a little  bit when I came back, he was so sure that he was going to be marrying Rachel here. He then asked me to be his best man, which I was honoured to do of course. I just wanna say I love yous both and I hope you live happily ever after... god you deserve it bro" puck said as he bro hugged finn and kissed Rachel on her cheek

After another few quick speeches Rachel wanted a turn to speak on the mic, Chloe handed her it and sat down

Rachel stood up and spoke

"Well what can I say about this giant beside me? He has made me so happy and that's what made me fall in love with him as he is such a loving and caring person... stubborn but that's one of his personality traits that made me fall for him... I hope he loves me and our latest of the Hudson family" she said rubbing her belly over her dress

Finns eyes went wide like everyone else's

"Huh?" He asked

"I'm pregnant finn... your gonna be a daddy" she said into the microphone and everyone Began clapping

Finn stood up hugged her and he was laughing with pure joy.

"I'm gonna be a dad!" He shouted as the tears of joy fall from his eyes

Carole was crying also

Rachel let go of finn and went over to Carole and hugged her tightly as they both laughed and was talking about her pregnancy

Obviously Rachel couldn't drink any alcohol so she just stuck to water or orange juice

She went around talking to everyone, they were all congratulating her and finn for her pregnancy

Finn and puck we're talking about it also

"Your gonna be a baby daddy Finnegan!"'puck patted his back as finn looked happy and also terrified of the thought of a baby but it was mostly joy and happiness

"I know! Wow I'm gonna get grey hair" finn said drinking some of is beer in sacredness

Puck laughed at him and called him a pussy, finn glared at him and he immediately shut up

Finn laughed and then got told by the dj that it was time for their first dance... which he was DREADING

Because he can't dance

"Fuck" he said under his breath and made his way to the dance floor to where he was met with Rachel

She wrapped her arms around its neck and he placed his hands on her waist loosely

He smiled as the music filled the room and they felt like they were the only ones there

Everyone was watching the newly wedded couple swaying to the music and soon after the dance floor welcomed other couples that danced
On the dance floor along with Rachel and Finn

"So when did you Find out?" He asked as they danced

"Last week but I figured I would wait until today to tell you as a surprise" she smiled

"Are you happy? You know about the baby?" She asked

"Of course I am but I'm just a little scared, I know stupid" he shook his head but she looked at him

"It's not stupid... I'm scared too but I've got you to help me through it" she whispered

He leaned down and kissed her slowly and placed a Hand over her stomach and placed some circles on it

The night went on as normal

Finn didn't want to drink that much so he began drinking Pepsi but puck was steaming (Scottish word for extremely drunk)

Finn made sure he got in the taxi safely and went inside to see that people were still partying and he didn't want to be the party pooper so he just left them be

He asked Rachel if they wanted to head and she agreed

He said goodbye to everyone as him and Rachel got into the limo and headed to their home as she didn't want a honeymoon

Best day ever
