SADIE
I sat curled up in my black, fluffy blanket as I watched the new episode of Between. I loved that show and there was a lot of love triangles. It now reminds me of my past. Sophia was in her room studying and Millie had gone to visit her parents for the weekend. A knock a the door startled me slightly. It was 11pm, who would call at 11pm. I decided to answer it anyway. I was half-expecting to get robbed. I opened the door to see a beaten Finn Wolfhard. "What the hell happened to you?" I asked, concerned despite the fact that I wasn't supposed to like him. I let him inside and he explained that he had been in a fight with Jack. He sat on the sofa and I searched in the kitchen to find something near enough to an ice pack. Peas. I hated peas and it was only Millie that ate them so I didn't mind if they got all soggy and warm and had to be thrown away.
"I'm really tired, Sadie" he groaned as I passed the bag of frozen peas to him.
"Well you can't sleep after a head injury" I said, sitting beside him.
"Psh, it's hardly a-"
"It's a head injury, Finn" I confirmed. I yawned, I was tired after a long day. I could see he was too, but I couldn't risk him dying and all the blame being on me for letting him fall to sleep.
"Shall I punch you in the face so you can't sleep as well?" he joked. I smirked slightly and punched him in the arm softly and playfully. Finn could be funny sometimes, I didn't know why we were all buddy-buddy. He may have come to his senses and realised I was a good person to hang with and not to annoy me, instead to annoy someone else. I had a feeling there might have been a small chance that we could be friends.
