"I already know what you're here for" she said, letting me inside. "For what then?" I said as Iris closed the door. "To eradicate Jack" she replied.
"Well I wouldn't say eradicat-"
"You want him gone, Finn" she said. A tall guy with dark brown hair and green eyes stepped in. "This is my boyfriend, Asher. He's a hitman" she explained. My face scrunched up. I didn't like the idea of killing Jack. "Don't worry, he won't die" she said, noticing my reaction. "Jack's insane, Finn. It runs in his family". This shocked me. Jack was schizophrenic? "Asher is a familiar face. That's the last person he saw before his house burned down, killing all of his family" Iris said. I had know about the fire incident. I thought Jack acted strange sometimes, but I assumed it was all down to that. "Now he believes Asher did it, and now he's been after him ever since. Once he sees Asher, he will snap. Make sure he has a knife, Finn" she explained to me. "How much do you want paying?" I asked Asher. He told me everything was okay and he'd do it for free. However I refused and handed him twenty bucks. "Finn, you must tell us where you are. And make sure Sadie sees it all" Iris added. I agreed, I was so nervous.

It was perfect. Jack and Sadie had agreed to go for a walk, as Iris had convinced Sadie to do, to "destress". I followed them. I saw Asher in the corner of a building. It was going all as planned. "SADIE! PLEASE WAIT!" I yelled, running after her. She sped up slightly but I managed to catch up. I grabbed her wrist, "Please. I really like you, Sadie and I'm such an idiot for denying my feelings". She looked at me. I could see pity in her eyes. "Finn, I like you. I like you a lot but you're s-" Her words were quickly cut off by Asher's scream. She bolted around and we both saw Asher on the floor, bleeding. Jack was stood over him, holding the bloody knife in his hand. He looked around as everyone in the street stared. Then he bolted towards Sadie and I. Sadie grabbed onto me, terrified. I held her waist tightly. Or of nowhere, a man came and tackled Jack to the ground whilst another by-passer called the cops. "Sadie, goddamnit I love you" I said hurriedly.
"I love you too" she replied, still in shock and terror. It still wasn't enough to stop her from kissing me. We pulled away with hitched breathing, "I believe you" she said, tears streaming down her red cheeks. I pulled her into a hug. I still felt bad. But Sadie was mine, and that was all that mattered.
