I was in the kitchen preparing drinks for Finn and I. "Why is Millie's boyfriend here?". Someone's voice startled me slightly so I turned around. It was Sophia. I put down the bottle of coke.
"He got into a fight at home and he has no where else to go" I shrugged, turning to face her.
"I thought you hated him?" she asked, picking up the bottle and pouring some coke into the glass.
"I don't hate him... he's just annoying sometimes" I insisted.
"Psh, sometimes" she chuckled, exiting the kitchen. She made me think a little bit. I thought I did dislike Finn, but things change quickly. Especially for me. I can forgive someone for anything in a second, and Finn was incredibly nice that day and I thought he was just making an attempt at being friends. I liked that. I picked up the two glasses and made my way over to Finn, laying on the sofa. "Getting comfortable, are you" I joked with a smile, passing him the drink. He smiled and nodded. I sat beside him awkwardly and avoided total eye contact. Things seemed a little weird in the air, I just assumed it was about what Sophia said.
