What was Mike up to? Whatever it was, it has to have something to do with me. That was the scary part. He generally tried to meddle in my private life and that only caused trouble for the both of us.

"Mike? What are you doing?"

He gave me an innocent look. "What are you talking about, older brother?"

Oh, yeah. He was definitely up to something. The only time he called me "older brother" was when he was trying to throw me off his trail.

I narrowed my eyes and put my hands on my hips, tapping my foot impatiently. "You know exactly what I'm talking about."

"Sheesh. Would you stop that? You look like Mom when you do that."

I blushed but kept my stance anyway. "You're changing the subject."

"Hey guys! Guess who we brought!!"

Mike groaned. "You guys weren't supposed to bring him in here yet!" He hissed at them.

I raised an eyebrow. "Not supposed to bring who in here?"

Tony and Jaime looked back and forth between Mike and I before looking at each other. "Oops," they muttered in unison.

I rolled my eyes. "Would someone please tell me what the hell is going on here?"

Mike sighed. "Since these idiots can't do one thing right, I guess I might as well let the cat out of the bag." Then, he said the one name that would forever make my heart stop. "Kellin, come on in here."

I felt my heart drop into my stomach as he stepped through the door, looking as sexy as ever. God, how long had it been since we had last seen each other? Good grief, it's been thirteen years! I think I would have liked it better if it had been eternity before we had ever laid eyes on one another again though.

He stopped dead in his tracks. "Vic," he whispered, as if he couldn't believe he was actually seeing me.

"Kellin," I whispered back.

My breath caught in my throat and I rushed from the room before I could release the tears that were threatening to fall. I had just locked myself into one of the restroom stalls when I heard the outer door open, followed by footsteps. Whoever it was stopped right outside of my door. I looked down and saw black converse and groaned. There was only one person I knew who wore black converse today.

"Vic, let me in," he whispered.

I swallowed past the lump in my throat and responded. "Go away, Kellin. I don't want to talk to you."

Instead of doing what I asked, he slid down the wall and sat right in front of my stall door. "You know, this is sort of like deja vu."

I stayed silent. I knew exactly what he was talking about. He was talking about the last time we talked to each other, thirteen years ago.

I hid in the restroom stall at school, silently begging God that Kellin didn't find me. I didn't want to talk to him. There was nothing left to say. That was my opinion anyway. I didn't really care what he thought at this point.

The restroom door opened and black converse covered feet stopped right in front of my stall.

"Come out, Vic. We need to talk."

"No."

He sighed and I could practically see him pinching the bridge of his nose. "Please, baby. We need to talk."

I shook my head before realizing he couldn't see me. "No," I said again.

"You're being stubborn," he groaned.
