"If you aren't careful, I think you might just charge out there and strip him down on stage," Jaime murmured in my ear.

"Holy fuck! Don't sneak up on me like that, Hime-Time!" I screeched.

He chuckled and shook his head. "If you weren't so lost in thoughts of fucking the one man we both know you can't have, you would have heard me come up behind you. I mean, we both know I'm about as quiet as an elephant."

"That's for damn sure," I muttered.

His laughter boomed off the wall and he clapped me on the back.

I raised a brow and looked up at him.

He sobered up a bit and cleared his throat. "Sorry. But seriously, man, you need to either get over him or fuck him and then get over him."

I went bug eyed and took a step away from my best friend. "I'm going to pretend you did not just say that."

He shrugged. "What's the issue?"

"You just suggested I tempt him into cheating on his wife!" I hissed as quietly as possible while him still being able to hear me.

He rolled his eyes. "You never know, man. There could be more going on with him and Katelynne than you think."

I quirked a brow and tilted my head slightly. "What do you mean? What do you know that I don't?"

He shook his head. "Nothing. I'm just saying there might be more there than what meets the eye."

I snorted, still not entirely convinced. He definitely knew more than he was letting on.

He groaned. "Look, dude. I'm not saying there is anything happening. I'm just saying there is always the possibility."

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever you say, Jaime. I just don't think it would be worth screwing things up to take that big of a leap of faith."

"What are we taking a leap of faith in?"

I snorted and rolled my eyes. Speak of the devil and he shall appear. I shook my head and walked off before I had the chance to give in to my urges.

"What did I miss, Jaime?"

He shrugged. "Go find out."

I narrowed my eyes and caught him by the back of his shirt as he started to walk away.

"Don't think so. Now, what the hell just happened?"

He groaned "Vic is so going to kill me for this," he muttered under his breath.

I raised a brow. "What's he going to kill you for?"

He sighed. "Okay, well, he was standing here practically drooling while you were on stage, so I told him he might as well either move on or fuck you already."

I choked at that. "What?" I sputtered.

He rolled his eyes. "Anyway, he thought I was telling him to convince you to cheat on your wife, so I maybe kind of sort of hinted a little bit that you and Katelynne weren't together anymore and told him he should just take a leap of faith."
