Aoba finally looked into the box. There was my piercings along with pictures of us, love notes, a locket with our first kiss picture in it, and one of very first rings I bought him. There was an unfinished note I wrote to him. I wrote it whenever Aoba was at work but because I died before I finished it, he never got so see what the last line was. I was going to write, I love you to the moon and back no matter what the hell happened. The line I never got to write is true even though I'm dead.

Aoba was crying, but he knew I was in a better place than the terrible hated world. He flipped the box to the bottom where there was a quote. Aoba's favorite quote actually. It read, "Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay." ~anonymous. Aoba lost it then. He cried for hours. He eventually passed out.

It has been a few years since I passed away. Aoba visits me everyday. He started smoking after I died. He promised me that he'll stay alive until he dies from old age or whatever. He still works. He keeps good care of himself despite me not being there. He falls asleep with anything he can find that's mine. I've watched over him every day making sure he keeps himself in good shape.

One day after he got home from work he grabbed a piece of paper along with a pencil. He started writing a letter. I didn't know who it was to. I peered over his shoulder and saw the first two words.
