Z-O-M-B-I-E-S: A New Beginning

Chapter 2

The bell rang and everyone headed to lunch excited to see the celebrity. Addison hadn't seen Xander or Zed for the rest of the day and was excited to see Xander especially because he was a new student.

She glided into the lunch room to see cautious all over. Addison's usual table was now bombarded with people crowded around Xander. Zed looked almost amused at the sight of all the people. While Eliza looked disgusted at the sight of some many people. Bonzo kept trying to say hello in English but could only say heyo.

Xander spotted Addison from across the room and shouted, "Hey Addison come sit over here!"

Addison kept her head down as everyone turned there heads toward her. Addison stood by Zed at the table for everyone had spread out so she could get through.

Zed whispered, "You want to go to the safe room?"

Addison nodded and quietly said, "If you would excuse us..."

They headed down the hall and went directly into the safe room. Zed flicked the light on and they both took a sigh.

"That was so embarrassing," Addison mumbled.

"Agreed. Eliza said if she has to sit next to Xander one more time she might just go full on zombie on him," Zed said imitating a scary zombie.

Addison giggled responded, "She would. I wish we could just eat lunch I'm here."

Zed thought for a quick moment and commented, "Why don't we just eat lunch in here now? Plus Eliza, Bonzo, and Bree of course can eat here too."

Zed looked hopeful for his new idea but then Addison said, "We can't abandon Xander."

Zed rolled his eyes and responded, "Xander can handle himself."

"But maybe he wants a break," Addison began to pace around the room, "I mean being a famous sounds kind to exhausting from all the fans."

Zed crossed him arms and said, "I'm pretty sure he likes all attention. I mean you should have seen the way he signed autographs and flirted with the girls. He was like Bucky from last year."

"Zed please? Just for one day with him and then if you really can't stand him I will personally shove him back into the cafeteria with his fans," Addison said now pulling on his shirt.

"One day!" Zed said pointing his index finger.

Addison gave him a hug making Zed smirk. They exited the room to see Eliza and Bonzo standing outside of the door.

"So that's were you go all the time," Eliza said with a a small smile on the corner of her mouth.

The group stood outside of safe room and discussed what Addison and Zed's plan was.

"One flaw to you plan Addy, how are we going to get Mr. Famous alone to talk with him?" Eliza questioned.

Addison thought and then a lightbulb hit her head and she spoke, "The pep rally. I'm not in the last cheer act. I can to talk to him then."

"Perfect," Eliza said high fiving Addison.

The plan was set yet Addison realized that Zed was probably right. He liked the attention so did he want to get away from his fans? Addison thought about it as she entered her next class.

As Addison walked into her class she saw Xander was there as well but this time only had one girl that he was flirting with. Stacy, who kept twirling her hair as she flirted with him.

Xander spotted Addison and sprinted up to her making Stacy full of jealousy as she stomped away.

Xander took her hand gently and guided her towards his table, making Addison blush insanly.

"Stacy is driving me crazy so I need to do something to make her go away. Do you trust me?" Xander said holding her hand.

"Um... sure..." Addison responded suspicous of what Xander was going to do.

Suddenly Xander put his hand around her waist and began to kiss her. He put his other hand in her hand and kept going. Addison, after a couple of moments, pushed him away with tears in her eyes.

"Why are you crying was the kiss not good?" Xander questioned.

"I... I can't..." Addison ran out of the room sobbing and headed to the safe room agian to be by herself to think about what she had just done.
