Chapter 5

Zed stomped into school wondering where Addison was. He still wanted to talk to her even though she might still be upset.

He went to his locker and sighed putting stuff into it. He saw Addison enter with Xander and looked at him in disgust. Xander put his arm around Addison realizing Zed was standing there.

"Hello friend! Addison and I were just doing cheer practice," Xander said with a devious smirk.

"Oh how delightful," Zed said in annoyance.

"Addison can we speak in private?" Zed said not looking at Xander.

The bell rung and students bustled down the hallway.

"Sorry Zed talk later," Addison said as Xander and her wake down the hall together.

"Addison will you come with me into the closet for a moment?" Xander said showing her to the closet.

"Okay...?" Addison agreed.

They went into the closet and they stood there awkwardly for moments and then Addison said, "What are we doing in here?"

Then Xander kissed her. Addison tried to push back but Xander put his arm around her waist pulling her in. Then he stopped.

"Do you like that Addy?" Xander said with a smirk.

"I... I...," Addison stuttered.

Suddenly the closet burst open by Eliza who stood there in shock.

"Xander leave. Addison you are coming with me!" Eliza commanded.

Eliza pulled Addison into the safe room glaring at her.

"What the heck was that? You in a closet with Xander? I mean what about Zed? If you hurt him I swear Addison!" Eliza said in fury.

"He pulled me into the closet and then kissed me again. I'm getting tired of him," Addison said folding her arms in annoyance.

"How did you find this safe room anyway? Only me and Zed know about it."

"Zed told me and Bonzo your plan and I liked it. By the sounds of it though I guess you don't want Xander to come in here anymore," Eliza said as she took a seat on the floor.

"I just he... he stole my first kiss and now he want to probably do something he's going to regret. Should have done my low kick," Addison said that last part still thinking about it.

"How about we don't tell Zed about this?" Eliza said as Addison nodded.

"Yeh that's probably the best idea," Addison said as her and Eliza walked out of the room.

The day proceeded on until finally it was lunch and Addison secretly crept into the safe room. There was Eliza, Bonzo, and Zed to welcome her.

"Hey Addison!" Zed said putting his arm around her as she sat down.

"I'm starving, I need food," Eliza said acting like a real zombie.

Addison giggled as she had brought a full meal for everyone to eat. Bonzo tore into an apple while Zed just chilled and shoved a cupcake in his mouth.

Addison and Eliza kept staring at him too but saying no words. Bonzo looked at them suspiciously but ignored them and went back to finishing his apple.

"So how was had your day been so far with Xander?," Zed asked Addison making her eyes widen.

"Um... well... you know... boring and stuff," Addison murmured.

"Well I,"Eliza interrupted her drawing Zed's attention away, "I got a new laptop as a gift from our tech teacher. It's awesome let me show you."

Addison breathed and quietly excused herself to go to the bathroom as Zed and Bonzo awed at the sight of the laptop.

Addison strolled down the hall and darted into the bathroom afraid Xander might be near.

She looked into the mirror and her eyes teared up. She held her head high fixed her hair and tried to smile. At that moment though she heard a loud slam from the door.

There entered Lacey with crossed arms and one eyebrow raised.

"Oh hi Lacey!" Addison said trying to walk out of the door.

But Lacey blocked her path and said, "Back off from Xander, he is mine. Or so help me I will find a way to ruin you."

She then stepped out of the way and Addison looking fearful headed back to the safe room.
