6th Chapter: Honeymoon – B.A.P
"Welcome back to work, y/n. How was your weekend?" Himchan smiled at me as I entered the staff room.
"Uhm, pretty good, actually. How was yours, Himchan~sshi?" I answered, a bit confused about the sudden friendliness after our last encounter.
"It was okay. Have you eaten yet?" he asked, still smiling at me.
"No, I never eat breakfast at home." I answered and walked out of the staff room to start working.
The day ran by without any significant incidents. Junhong had called in sick again, but I didn't care that much at this point. Of course I was worried about him being sick, but since he had been so annoying, I was glad to not have to talk to him.
When my shift was over and I had changed back into my regular clothes, I waited outside for Yongguk to pick me up.
He had promised me on Saturday that he would come by pick and me up every day after work, since he was apparently living close by.
As I was looking through my social media, I heard a car horn honk and looked around.
With a smile I walked over to Yongguk's car and got in.
"Thank you so much for this, again. You're a life saver, you know?" I chuckled and put my bag between my legs.
"You're welcome, y/n~ah. How was your work day?" he asked as he started driving.
"It was okay, my boss was a bit weird though. He was super friendly all of a sudden." I said, then I remembered that Yongguk knew Himchan.
"I mean, I didn't mind it, but it was just not his usual behaviour, you know? You know him, right?" I asked carefully, looking at his side profile as he kept looking at the street. He nodded and I noticed a smirk creeping up on his face.
"How do you know him? Are you friends?" I asked again, noticing how I started acting like Junhong had before.
"Sorry, I shouldn't ask those questions." I mumbled, distracting myself with my phone.
"It's okay, you can ask whatever you want. I know him from my workplace. And yes, you could consider us friends." Yongguk answered and I risked a glance at his face again.
"Where do you work?" I asked carefully, squinting my eyes.
"Uhm, at a club. I'm a bartender." He answered confidently.
My jaw dropped in realization and I almost dropped my phone.
"Oh my god, are you the bartender at EGO?" I asked again, remembering the night in the club and the talk with the handsome bartender.
"Yes. You seem shocked, are you okay?" he asked with a grin.
"Oh my god! Why didn't you tell me?! You knew it was me! You-" I slapped his shoulder and he started laughing wholeheartedly.
"I'm sorry! I thought you would recognize me! I thought you knew who I was!" he laughed and I crossed my arms in front of my chest, pretending to be upset.
"I'm sorry." He continued laughing, which made me smile. I had never heard such a sweet laugh in my life. It was beautiful and heart-warming.
"You may be forgiven if you come by the café tomorrow and drink a coffee with me." I stated and Yongguk stopped laughing.
"I will gladly do that if it means you forgive me." He glanced at me with a sweet smile and then the car stopped.
"We have arrived." He said and looked at me. I nodded and opened the door of the car.
"Thank you. See you tomorrow! Don't forget!" I shouted after I had left the car and he drove away.
With a sigh I threw my bag over my shoulder and entered the apartment building and walked to my apartment.
While I fumbled with the keys I looked over at Junhong's door. He hadn't called or texted me and I was worrying more and more.
Shaking my head, I opened the door and went inside, closing the door behind me again.
As I was about to change into my comfortable clothes, my phone rang.
"Hey Jongup, what's up?" I said, feeling happy to hear from him again.
"Where were you today?" his voice sounded cold and angry.
"Why? I was working and then a friend drove me home. Are you okay?"
"Who the fuck drove you home? You said you would come over to the studio today. Can't you fucking keep promises?" he sounded like he was angry and broken, but I couldn't figure out why.
"I said my friend drove me home, why the fuck are you getting angry? What's wrong with all you guys suddenly?! Everyone gets angry at me for having friends and you behave like you can control my life! What the fuck is wrong with you?!" I shouted into my phone and pulled my hair.
"Come to the studio right now. We need to talk."
"NO! You know what, fuck you, fuck Junhong, I'm tired of this bullshit! Why the fuck are you being so unreasonably dumb?! You can't order me around, you asshole!" I screamed now and Jongup tried screaming back, but I hung up.
I leaned against the wall and slowly slid down, tears burning hot in my eyes.
Sobbing and coughing I sat on the ground for at least 10 minutes, until my phone rang again next to me.
I looked at the screen and started crying even harder, as I saw that Junhong was calling me. With shaking hands I declined the call and stared at my lockscreen. It was a picture of me and Junhong at an arcade, where I was hugging him from behind and pointed at the screen of his game, a smile plastered on both of our faces.
He didn't know that I had loved him back then, and he still didn't know.
I still felt something flutter in my stomach whenever I saw Junhong smile, but ever since he had made me so scared I was slowly losing that feeling more and more.
I leaned my head against the wall and stared at the ceiling, remembering how Junhong had helped me move in, after I had accidentally hit him with a chair.
I closed my eyes and let the memories stay for a bit, until I fell asleep on the floor.Jongup's POV:
"We have to get rid of them right fucking now, or I'll do it on my own, do you fucking understand me?!" I growled at the older man and slammed my fist down on the table.
"I do understand, but we can't just fucking waltz in there and kill them like it's nothing, do you fucking understand me?" Bang growled back and I walked around the room aimlessly, pulling my hair and hissing.
"FUCK!" I screamed and kicked a chair.
"You need to calm down, or we're not gonna do anything." Bang stated and I dragged my hands over my face in frustration.
"We need to kill them as soon as we can, I need to have her!" I stared into Bangs eyes, which seemed way to calm for this situation.
She was slipping away from me and I couldn't let that happen. And I couldn't keep on having those fucking flowers choke me up.
Suddenly the door flew open and I turned around in surprise.
"Zelo, you 're back." Bang determined and I squinted my eyes.
"We have to do something. Moon, I heard her scream in her apartment. She doesn't get angry often. What the fuck was all that about, huh?" Zelo came closer and closer until we were only a centimetre apart from each other. He was taller than me, so he had to bend down.
"What the fuck is that supposed to mean, you were the one who started being a complete ass to her. She told me to fuck off on the phone, and you know what else she said? Fuck Junhong. That's right, she also told you to fuck off, you motherfucker. Now tell me again that she doesn't get angry often. She said you were also behaving like a shithead, so what about that?"
Zelo's eye twitched, right before he punched me square in the face.
