12th Chapter; Love is Gone - MAP6

Junhong's POV:
Was I really doing this?
Was I really sitting in Shownu's office, waiting for the order to kill her?
"It's the only way to get rid of it." He had told me.
"Either she dies or we do. There's no other way." He had looked broken. Just like me.
"There is no other way?" I had asked, my voice shaking. He had looked up from his desk.
"There is one, but you don't want to know."
"Are you ready, Zelo? For your first mission on the right team?" Wonho grinned at me.
"Was it easy for you?" I asked him, putting my jacket on, checking the pockets.
"What do you mean?" he put on his fingerless gloves and cracked his knuckles.
"Betraying her?"
He was silent for a moment, then he shrugged.
"The trick is not looking at her. Otherwise it's a thing of luck. I was lucky. You weren't. You fell for her." He explained, checking his gun.
"And you didn't? Why is everyone so focused on her anyways?" Kihyun interrupted the conversation and sat down to put on his boots.
"She's beautiful." Wonho and I responded in unison, looking at each other.
"Okay then." Kihyun mumbled and walked away.
"It's time. Let's kill the bitch." Shownu announced.

An hour later everyone was at their position in the EGO.
Was I really doing this?
How could I betray my first love like this?
How could I betray my friends like this?
Was this how you handled unrequited love?
Doubt was creeping into my mind, but as I saw her enter the empty club, my anger rose up.
She was next to him, Bang Yongguk, the fucking traitor whose fault it was I fell for her in the first place.

3 years ago:
"Remember; do not, under any circumstance, approach her. Just watch her, contact is not necessary." Yongguk repeated for the 10th time.
"Oh my god, I get it. But if I live in the same building as her, it will be hard to avoid her." I groaned and rolled my eyes, earning myself a smack on the head from Himchan.
"Don't disrespect the leader like that, kid." His voice was cold, but he smiled.
"Sorry." I mumbled, making the other members laugh.
"You know I was kidding, right?" Yongguk grinned at me.
"You asshole." I scoffed and the others laughed again.
"I hereby encourage you to approach her if necessary. But be careful. You know what happened to the others." Yongguk's face was serious as ever and I nodded. Then I got out of the car and walked into the building.
As I was walking to my apartment door, I heard someone shout in frustration.
Curiously, I knocked on the door and pushed it open.
There I saw her for the first time.
"Do you need any help?" I asked, making her jump and drop the chair she was holding in the air. To avoid having it fall on her, she threw it forward, directly hitting me in the chest.
"Oh my fucking god, I'm sorry! I'm so sorry, I shouldn't kill my neighbours the first time I meet them!" she shouted and started fumbling with her shirt. "It's fine, I'm okay. I'm Junhong by the way." I smiled at her.
With that face, it was impossible to stay mad at her.
"Oh, I'm y/n. I just moved here, as you can see. I could, uhm, use a little help? If you don't mind?" she smiled sheepishly and I couldn't help but grin at her.
"What? Is there something funny? I almost killed you and you're laughing?" she raised an eyebrow, fumbling with her hair and scratching the back of her head.
"No, sorry. I can't help but notice that you're kind of pretty." I mumbled and started helping her with her things.
That evening was the first time I had felt the tension in my chest.
The flowers came a year later.

Present time:
There I was, staring at her, feeling the fucking flowers rise up my throat, but I suppressed them, how I had learned from Shownu.
She was looking around the club, her hand in the pocket of her leather jacket, which I realised used to be mine when I was still with B.A.P. The knot in my stomach tightened.
"Where the fuck are you?!" she shouted, her voice making my heart ache.
"I'm right here." Jooheon, who had been hiding in the shadows like the rest of us, stepped up from behind the bar.
"So this is it, huh?" Jooheon grinned at her, playing with the gun in his hand.
"This is it." She growled back.
"Isn't this the perfect place to meet? For the last time? Since it was the place where we met for the first time?" Jooheon continued, walking towards her in a mocking manner.
"It is." Was her short answer.
"I still remember that night. You were crying. You were so heartbroken. And you-"
"Shut the fuck up, I remember it. The others don't have to hear it, do they?" she snarled, her face contorting in a disgusted manner.
"Oh, I think they do. Especially one person in particular. You were so heartbroken that you were willing to take anyone, that's how fucking desperate you were." My hands were cold and shaking. What was he talking about? Did she have something with him?
"You were so sad, because you thought he loved another woman, when, in fact, he didn't. He loved you." Jooheon continued, my palms were sweating and the gun in my hand seemed heavier than before.
"What do you think would he do if he heard this right now?" Jooheon was now standing inches away from her, leaning his forehead against hers.
"I don't know, and I will never know." She said, smiling at him.
"Why?"
"Because he's dead. And so are you." She kissed him quickly pulling her hand out of her pocket, revealing the gun she had been holding. Without hesitation, she pulled the trigger and kicked his dying body to the ground, away from her.
