You've been dating Jinkx Monsoon for six years now. And you've been nothing but supportive of them. From starring in Rupaul's drag race, to voice acting and even a musical career. But this  "project" was too much for you. Your partner was filming a new series called " Cool mom" with Nick Sahoyah, their ex.
It wasn't like Jinkx hadn't worked with Nick before- those Overwatch videos were lit in more than one way or like they hadn't revealed their "romantic past" with Magnolia Crawford of all people. But something about this was bothering you more than it should be. You loved your partner with all of your heart and trusted them with your life, so why were you annoyed at them getting together with a friend and filming videos?
Jealousy was a green-eyed monster and it filled your thoughts, spreading through your body like a disease. But you knew that if you could replace the negative feeling with positive ones you'd feel better. So you got your phone out of your pocket and pulled up your camera roll. You liked to take pictures with Jinkx so you could remember the milestones of your relationship. You started with the one of Jinkx drinking coffee on your first date. After you two met at a local showing of your favourite musical they asked you out. That first date was the start of a very cheesy relationship. Then there was the picture of you two with your foreheads pressed together after your first kiss. You swiped through a few anniversary and birthday shots and reached the night of Jinkx's win. It was truly a night of happiness and it was captured in every photo. In the first one you and Jinkx's family are simply smiling, then you are kissing you partner's cheek as the stand there in a beautiful gown and a crown on their head. Then, of course, a few silly ones of them "knighting" or crowning you.
And from that night onward you were like a personal photographer to Jinkx, capturing their fame. First it was the Vaudevillains, a musical that fulfilled your partner's dreams of being on stage and yours of seeing them there. You had photos of the rehearsals, opening night, and Jinkx holding your tickets and signing your playbill.
But the music didn't stop there because a year after the Vaudevillains your lover released an album. You were so proud and played the whole thing on repeat, probably driving them insane.
In 2015 you weren't the only one filming Jinkx, no. What started as a short series on YouTube from 2011, became a documentary. Drag becomes him was spectacular, even if sometimes Jinkx jokes that they would've gotten a lot more material if they asked for your photo collection.   Then there was a whole year of peace and quiet before your partner announced their role in Steven Universe. With the both of you watching the show religiously and Jinkx performing the songs at gigs, you knew that your partner could do anything.
After this trip to memory lane your phone vibrated with a text from Jinkx themselves. I'll be back soon, get ready we're going out. You were dressed fancy and fixing yourself in the mirror when the door opened and in walked Jinkx and Nick.
" What's going on here?" you asked , but you didn't get an answer, no instead you got the sight of your partner getting on one knee and asking
" Will you marry me?"
"Yes" as you were crying tears of joy you heard the click of a camera. Nick took a picture of a new beginning. And this was definitely going to be your new favourite picture.
