It was 2 PM and you were desperately trying to stay awake. That's when you heard the turn of the key in your lock. Raven was home. They seemed surprised to see you sitting in the living room.
"Babe what are you doing up? I thought I told you not to wait for me."
"Yeah, you did, but I wanted to talk to you. We haven't seen each other all day."
"Can we save it for tomorrow, I'm tired from working."
"You're always working. It's like
you're dating Rupaul and not me."
"You signed up for this. You knew when we started dating that I would have gigs"
"Yes, I expected that, but when you combine the tours and world of wonder and drag race I barely see you."
"You think I don't know that. I miss you when I'm away. But that's my job. I can't just stop working just because we're together."
"Don't you think I know that? But it's not the only thing I'm mad at you about. Why do you never show me off?"
"This again. Let's drop it tonight. You know the fucking rule of not going to bed angry. Let's do that. "
"Okay. But I want you to think long and hard about this relationship"
Raven just went to bed without saying a word
The next morning you headed out to work quietly, as to not wake up your partner. You went  to work, trying to not think about last night's fight. To distract yourself during the break you opened Instagram. Raven had posted a photo of you two and added a caption, basically explaining to the fans about your relationship. You liked the photo and called them, but you ended up leaving a voicemail:
"Hi babe. I saw what you did and I wanted to thank you. Look, I'm not saying that you posting a picture of us will solve our problems, but it's a start. I'll talk to you when I get home."
When you arrived at your shared apartment Raven was already there. Before you could say something they began talking to you.
"You know why I was constantly at work? It was to get on the good side of the producers. To get us on fucking "Couples for cash" because I know you would love that. And guess what, I did. But I don't know if we're even still couple. So are we?"
"Of course we're a couple. But I think you should take a break."
"I can't do that.Don't you think I'd love it if I could balance both my work and our relationship. I want to get an Emmy and celebrate it with you, I want to film with you, I want to go on tour with you and all of that."
"You're right. I'm sorry for being so unreasonable. It's just , I want to settle with you. We can make it work. I'd be stupid to let such an amazing person go."
Raven gave you a soft smile.
"I love you"
"I love you too"
