While Eliza lived with her beautiful daughter Angie, she established the first private orphanage in New York City. She had many accomplishments. What she never understood though was that one small entry at the back of John's journal...

*Flashback. 1st Year Of College*

John Laurens has just arrived at his college and already made two new friends. Hercules Mulligan And Lafayette. The three were best friends almost immediately. But not even they knew John's true purpose. They still loved him though, not knowing what was to come.

They met Alexander Hamilton at the bar one night later in the year. Alex was apart of their crew ever since. John fell in love with Alex at first sight, and Herc and Laf knew it. They didn't pity John. Not at all. They supported him without him even realizing it.

Close to the end of their 1st year of college, Alex started dating Eliza. This broke John's already fragile heart. Herc and Laf were there for John the whole way, but nothing could stop John once he broke. John committed suicide halfway through his 2nd year of college.

Alex found John's journal while cleaning out his room in their dorm. He read the many entries John wrote. Alex kept John's journal a secret, but he never did find the small entry in the back of the journal. He married Eliza years later and had two beautiful children. Philip and Angie. He decided on those names in memory of John.

After finding out about John's father, he felt not only sad but motivated. He went to his desk and wrote multiple books, all of them being major hits. His last book was dedicated to Philip, since he had died in a car crash at the age 19. And not soon after the book was published, Alex was also killed in a car crash.

Eliza and Angie visited Philip's and Alex's graves almost everyday. She thought it was a coincidence that John's grave was right beside Alex's. That is.. Until she found the small entry at the back of John's journal. She read it over and over again but never truly understood it.

*Back to Present Time*

Eliza and Angie visited Alex's and Philip's graves again. This time, Eliza brought John's journal. She opened the journal to the small entry in the back and read it.

After reading over the small entry a few times, she looks at Philip's, Alex's, and John's graves. Her eyes widen slightly at what she was seeing.

Love is love even after death.

This got Eliza thinking. She walked back to her house with Angie. She walks into her house and into Alex's office. She starts going through all of Alex's papers, most being research papers. After a while of searching she comes across a couple pieces a paper on researching angels. She takes the papers and reads over them.

"Could.. Could John have been an angel..?" Eliza mumbled to herself as she set the papers down. "Sometimes I wish I weren't an angel.. But yes.. Yes I am an angel.." Eliza jumps slightly, whipping around to face whoever just spoke. She's surprised to now be face to face with the one and only John Laurens. But.. He's almost transparent.. And he has huge angel wings along with a glowing halo..

"John..? Is that really you..?" Eliza asked, still shocked from John's sudden appearance. He nods, smiling slightly. "You haven't changed a bit, Eliza," John said, "other than being a mother of course." Eliza smiles for a moment before it falters into a slight frown. "Did you know that all of this would happen..?" Eliza asked.

John was silent for a moment before responding, "Yes.. I knew from the very beginning.. It was a prediction that I made correctly.. A very sad prediction to be true.." Eliza nods her head in agreement. "I should leave now.." said John, "I'll say hello to Alex and Philip for you, Ok..?" Eliza smiles slightly and nods, "That would be nice of you.."

John smiles then disappears without a trace. Eliza sighs softly and walks back into the living room where Angie's playing. Angie smiles at her mother. Eliza smiles back. She's more at peace now that she knows more. She can be happy.

*Years Later*

Eliza Hamilton died of old age, Her now grown daughter Angie holding her hand. All of the children she raised at the orphanage mourned her death.

While going through Eliza's stuff, Angie found John's journal. She finds a small entry in the back.

Love is love even after death. So never give up hope. You'll find that love never dies. And that happiness always lives on.
