Have you ever felt like you're lost and this is the end of everything?

Like, you just want to get out of somewhere, you don't know where, but just get lost but then realise you're already lost.

Does that make sense?

I hope it does to you, because it totally does to me.

Coming out at this time was not at all a good idea, because right now, I'm lost.

Lost in the streets of Shimla.

What on earth was I thinking before deciding to come out for a walk in the middle of the night at a place that is still unknown to me.

Dumb. That's what I am.

Now I know, why Navya always tells me to think my every desicion twice.

"Hello, is anyone here?"

I put my hands on both sides of my waist and turn to look around, in hopes of finding someone.

Looking around for good sometime, and spotting no one, all my hopes crash down.

I inhale and exhale deeply, before sitting on the rock placed next to a tree.

Damn. This place is really scary.

The darkness feels so deep and there are no sounds coming from anywhere.

Not even the bushes or trees moving, like in the movies.

Not even the loud growling of wolfs, like in books.

"Okay Nandini Murthy, now you only have two options.
One: call dad, say sorry and ask him to pick you. But you can't do that, 'cause you're too dumb, so you left your mobile at home and there are no telephone booths around.
Two: wait until a supernatural creature comes and saves you. But why would they care, they're probably busy handling other stuff, so don't get your hopes high." I pick a random stick and make two lines on the muddy floor.

"Not the first one," I scratch the first line and then look at the second one hopefully, but I know that's not possible too, so I scratch it.

"And that leaves me with-"

"Are you crazy?"

Not thinking twice, "Yes, yes I am. Who are you?" I jump on my feet seeing a tall figure standing a few feet away from me.

In other situations I would probably freak out, but right now I feel more than happy seeing him.

Looking at his board shoulders anyone can deschip that he's very strong, but I want to look at his face, which is covered with a hoodie and the darkness is not making it easy at all.

Damn you darkness.

"So if you're crazy, then I shouldn't be talking to you-"

"Maybe. But you still are." I smirk at his probably dumbfound expression, while he shakes his head looking at the ground.

"What are you doing here?"

"I'm thanking mother nature for being so beautiful, but at the same time cursing her for making me get lost in her  creations." Silence.

Is he gone?

But I didn't hear any footsteps.

"Hey, are you there?" I try to look around, trying to find him, but darkness covers my vision.

Where is he? Gone? Why?

Not being able to hear anything, not even his breathing sound, I sit again on my previous seat.
