No, not like that you perverts. I mean the good plotline.)

Your POV

I laid on the couch per the usual, beyond bored. "Ughhhhh," I groaned.

"what, bored?" Sans guessed, laying opposite of me.

"How could ya tell?" I asked sarcastically.

"lucky guess."

Also, per the usual, Papyrus randomly burst through the door at the perfect time.

"SANS! (Y/N)! I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT WE SHOULD ALL MEET AT THE BARRIER!" he exclaimed, his voice brimming with excitement.

"Oh?" I said, intrigued. I sat up and was suddenly listening. "Why?"

"I DON'T KNOW! SOMEONE JUST TOLD ME TO DO IT," Papyrus said, shrugging while the fabric of his loose off-white shirt drooped off of his shoulders a tiny bit.

"something to do," Sans muttered, shooting me a smirk.

"Indeed. Let's go!" I grabbed his hand and Papyrus looked at us in disgust.

"YOU'RE GOING TO TELEPORT? HOW LAZY ARE YOU?"

"Very," I confirmed just as the world started to evaporate and become a throne room.

It was beautiful, golden light shining through stained glass windows onto an elegant throne. Golden flowers were scattered around, looking like they were freshly watered.

"Wow, this throne room is pretty," I commented, walking forwards to dust off something in the corner that was covered by a white tarp.

"not as pretty as you," Sans flirted, earning a blush from me.

"Are you kidding? That was really cheesy," I laughed.

Suddenly a flash of blue and yellow rocketed across the room, until it came to a stop right by the door to the next room.

It was... Undyne?

She was carrying a yellow lizard above her head, whose face was bright red.

"U-Undyne!" the lizard stuttered, clutching onto the fish's hair like her life depended on it. "A-are you s-sure this is a g-good i-idea?"

"Al, we should satisfy Papyrus's wishes! He brought us here, it must be for a reason," Undyne reasoned, taking her hand and smiling. She turned her head and saw us, and the smile shrank.

"Oh, heyyy, Undyne," I greeted nervously, avoiding eye contact. "So, uh. You were invited here, too?"

"Yeah, Papyrus told me to come," she growled.

"calm," Sans ordered, shutting Undyne up.

"A-another h-human?" the dinosaur observed, her eyes widening as she was set on the ground.

"Yeah, I'm (Y/N)!" I smiled, approaching her and shaking her hand.

"I-I'm A-Alphys, the r-royal scientist," she replied, a smile crawling onto her face. "N-nice to m-meet y-you."

"And you."

Papyrus stumbled into the room, sweat growing on his forehead. "I MADE IT!"

"hey, paps," Sans said, crossing his arms with his usual lazy grin.

"I heard that the other human was fighting Asgore," Undyne said, taking a step into the next room. "I'm gonna go stop it. The human is my friend!" Without another word, she sprinted away with Alphys trailing behind her.

"M-me t-too!" she announced.

"LET'S STOP A FIGHT!" Papyrus chirped, following close behind.

"welp," Sans muttered.

"Yeah. You wanna go, too?"

"if the kid promises not to reset," he growled under his breath. "sure."

I nodded and we ran hand in hand towards where the others went.

When we arrived, I saw someone who I'd never thought I'd see again.

"...Mom?" I realized, seeing the familiar furry figure. I released Sans's hand and felt myself tear up.

"...(Y/N)?" she gasped, coming towards me.

"Oh my gosh." I immediately leaned in and hugged her. She quickly returned it, wrapping her arms around me.

A cough was heard.

"shut up, frisk," Sans hissed. "they're having a moment."

The hug lasted for a while until I finally pulled away. "Why did you leave the Ruins?" I asked, tilting my head.

"I felt like my decision made no sense," she admitted. "I originally decided to let you journey alone, but then realized that to escape, you'd have to kill a boss monster and take their soul. Then I knew that I could not allow that. No one deserved to die, even this miserable creature here," she told me, gesturing towards a more masculine goat who had a beard. He seemed to be crying silently.

"Oh," I said, grinning. "I'm still super happy to see you."

"And you," Mom replied, returning it.
