Your POV

I covered my ears and screwed my eyes shut as music boomed downstairs. I couldn't stand my twin sister.

She had to have a party here? She knew how I felt about stuff like this, but still ignored me.

I tried to block myself from the sound and people outside of my room.

This is not a good night.

I groaned, twisting around so I was laying on my other side.

Genevieve and her friends are the strangest.

Genevieve's POV

I felt a little bad about my sibling (Y/N), but they could handle just a little screaming and laughing.

My friends and I were having a sleepover, and I guess we were being a tiny bit loud. Maybe a lot. Or possibly excessively.

Jhojanna giggled as she and Amber dueled on Just Dance 2018.

I chuckled, singing some of the lyrics. "BEEP BEEP I'M A SHEEP, I SAID BEEP BEEP I'M A SHEEP!" I sang, cupping my mouth to amplify the sound slightly.

Amber ended up winning, and laughed as Jhojanna pouted. "Ugh, soy tan malo en esto," she said in Spanish. She was bilingual, and many people in her family only spoke Spanish.

Though, I was learning Spanish in school, so I knew that she said, "Ugh, I'm so bad at this."

I laughed, nodding. "True dat."

I took Jhojanna's controller from her and selected the next song, and she sat on the couch.

"Listen up, here's a story," we all sang with the music. "About a guy who lives in a blue world. And all day, and all night, and everything he sees, is just blue-- like him, inside and outside."

That's when (Y/N) came down the stairs, rubbing her temples with their eyes closed. "Genevieve, do you mind with the music? What are you even doing?"

They opened their eyes and saw us dancing, and began to shake a little bit.

I blushed, realizing how bad the game choice was when (Y/N) was just upstairs. I quickly paused the game.

Crap, I'm dead.

Your POV

I gulped, closing my eyes again and taking a deep breath. "Gen, do you mind turning the volume down a bit?"

"O-oh, okay, sib. I'm sorry," she apologized sheepishly, un-pausing the game and turning the volume down to 4.

I nodded, turning back around and heading back to my room. "Thanks."

I was flipping done with this.

I know the legend of the monsters being sealed into Mount Ebbot-- I know that if I fall down there, I might meet a bunch of monsters. But, it's a legend. It might be just a false rumor.

I don't care.

I don't want to live with my sister anymore.

I huffed, going to my window. I opened it, staring at the rolling fields of my backyard that led to Mount Ebbot. It was so pretty in the wintertime, with the glistening snow and soft snowflakes drifting from the sky.

Climbing out, I jumped and landed clumsily on my butt. Luckily, the puffy snow broke my fall.

When the cold seeped through my sweatpants, I just realized that that was a completely and utterly idiotic idea.

I was just wearing black sweatpants and a(n) (F/C) long sleeved shirt with a star in the middle, which were my pajamas.

Ah, forget it.

I trudged through the snow, my nose and ears red. My feet practically froze in the snow, as they were only covered by a pair of fuzzy socks.

After half an hour of walking, I finally made it to the quite noticeable hole in the middle of the mountain. This is it.

I either die, or get saved by monsters.

Not very good odds, if you ask me.

Why did I come here again? I began to contemplate why I thought this was a good idea, before a vine appeared out of nowhere and dragged my leg inside.

I let out a terrified screech as I fell.
