(A/N: This one's a little short, sorry!)
Sans's POV
I frowned as much as possible, which was pretty much useless because my grin couldn't disappear.
"nice, frisk. or should i say chara," I hissed, crossing my arms.
Frisk looked at their ballet slippers in shame. "I'm sorry, Sans."
They looked back up at me with a pleading expression. "Could you just forgive me for that single genocide route? I... I wasn't myself. The events on the Surface before I fell were different, and I was more angry than usual."
I held my straight expression. "go on."
They gulped, staring everywhere except me. "I wasn't completely in control after I killed Mettaton NEO. It wasn't my fault that I killed you," they explained. "But once I did, I had absolutely no control over my body. I killed everyone else, and then..." Frisk's face darkened. "I met Chara, and she destroyed the whole world. The only way to get it back was to give her my soul. So..."
My gaze softened the slightest bit, but I still didn't forgive them. "fine, fine," I said quietly. "you're forgiven. mostly. i'll still have a small grudge on you, though." Lies. At least it sounded the tiniest bit genuine.
"I can live with a small grudge," Frisk joked, relief flooding their voice.
"c'mere, buddy. pal." I said, spreading my arms out.
Frisk hesitantly hugged me.
My left eye glowed blue and Frisk's body went limp, their small frame crumbling to the ground with blood trickling out of their mouth.
"geeeeeeeet dunked on!" I laughed evily, proud of the lie that I had made. I stared at the bones impaling their back and grinned.
(Y/N) returned for a moment. "Hold on, do you mind if..." They saw Frisk's body and blinked. "Umm... what happened here?"
My face went blue in embarrassment. "ummm.... nothing?"
"Frisk's unmoving body is on the ground with jagged bones sticking out of their spinal area. And you say nothing happened?"
I tried to fake a "normal" expression. "well, you see, they tried to attack me," I lied. I am on fire.
"Oh... Well, you do realize that they come back to life?" they pointed out, believing my fib.
"oh. yeah, didn't think about that." I waved my hand to show that it was okay. "whatever. anyway, what did you wanna ask me?"
"I was wondering if I could borrow some G..."
"to be honest, it doesn't really matter by now. the kid will reset in three, two, one..."
On cue.
(Y/N), Frisk and I appeared on the couch again, just when we were having the pun war.
Your POV
Oh my stars. Frisk actually did come back to life.
Frisk teared up, wiping their eyes quickly. "S-Sans, I th-thought..."
I pat their shoulder to show that I cared. "Tell me what happened," I said calmly.
"I-I t-told Sans about w-what happened and why he should f-forgive me, but then he... he..." They broke down into tears, and I immediately sent a glare Sans's way.
He just shrugged.
"Sans, you jerk!" I hissed.
"sorry, kiddo. i just don't know who to trust anymore," he responded coolly.
This hit me right in the gut. I winced at the sudden hurt that I was feeling. "Gee, thanks," I said sarcastically, sighing and stalking away.
I should just go somewhere to be alone. Maybe in the forest?
Yes. In the forest.
