City Boy Meets Country Girl

Chapter 2

Jackson's POV

"What the hell do you mean!" I yell at my manager; "Jack, you need to get out of the public's eye for a few months. Now Taylor said that his dad would be more then happy to have you stay with him for a few months." Jeff explains; "Do I even get a say in this?"

"No, so go home and pack." Jeff orders, "Whatever," "Oh and did I mention you leave at 3 today?"

"I'm going to kill you one day." I tell him while angrily walking out of the office and to my car. I get in and start on my way home to pack.

Taylor's POV

"So dad your sure you don't mind Jackson staying with you and Mason for a few months?" I ask over the phone; "Not at all son. There is more than enough space, and things to help with around here. I'll see you soon okay?" "Okay dad. Love you." "I love you too."

"Jess? Are you and Wyatt almost ready to go? We still have to pick up Jackson, and Masons present." I yell up the stairs, "Yep, we are all packed," she says while carrying Wyatt down.

"Can you go get our suitcase?" She asks me, "Of course I can." I tell her then give her a kiss on the cheek. Then I walk up the stairs and grab the two suitcases.

I walk downstairs and outside to the truck seeing Jess putting Wyatt into his car seat. I hop in the car and start it, Jessica hops in soon after me. I pull out my phone to call Jackson to let him know we're on our way.

Phone call

Taylor: Hey man what's up?
Jackson: Oh not much, how about you.
Taylor: Same here, just wanted to let you know we are on our way.
Jackson: Okay well I'm all ready.
Taylor: Okay my man see you in about 10 minutes.
Jackson: Okay bye.

We soon pull up to Jackson's house he comes out locking the door behind him then hoping in the truck. "Hey guys, 'Hello Wyatt' ." He says I chuckle; "Hey man we are going to make a quick pit stop in a bit, we are just picking a gift up." I tell him, he nods his head.

About an hour later we pull into a Riding Stables, "What the hel-heck are we doing at a horse barn?" Jackson says, "First off great save, second we are picking a late birthday and Christmas gift for Mason." Jessica says, "Jack if you want to come you are more then welcome." I tell him, "Well actually I need to feed Wyatt so..." Jessica says, "Right" Jackson says then hops out of the car.

Jackson's POV

Once we get out of the car I see some guy hooking a cow trailer or something up to the truck. "Dude why is he putting a cow trailer on the truck?" I ask Taylor, "First off that's a horse trailer, second that's part one of what we got Mason." He says while we walk into the horse barn. "Hi I'm Shelly, you must be Taylor," the lady says while shaking his hand. "Yes I am, now let's see the gelding." Taylor says, "Follow me." So we follow Shelly all the way to the back of the barn to be met with a big gray horse.

"And this is Comet. 16'2 hands, dapple grey thoroughbred, 4 years old jumper ." She tells us, "He's perfect, we'll take him." Taylor says, "Wait this is the 'little gift'?" I ask, he nods his head.

Comet is then led out of the stall and into the trailer with a bag of grass or something for him to eat. Taylor and I then get into the truck and start to drive to his house, while I'm still trying to figure out who Mason is.
