Sticks, Jungles, & Guavas

It wasn't that Peter didn't trust Evelina to go hunting with the lost boys and him, but he had his reasons. He must protect Evelina at all costs. And with Wendy prancing around the island as if she owned the entire bloody place, it wasn't exactly the safest idea for the snow princess to be fancy freeing through the jungle.

"Be on alert, boys, I don't want any of you being eaten by a hog now." Pan said and a couple of the boys chuckled.

"We shall hunt into the sunset, boys. Trackers, collect berries, fruits, anything edible." Some lost boys nodded and the group split into two, with Slightly as their leader. Peter looked at each lost boy before giving a stern look.

"Let's get to it!"

Evelina was not perfect, and she won't ever say that she is. Her powers added on to her imperfections, and her entire life had always been such a mess.

So to say she didn't always have the best ideas was true. She also didn't have the best judgement when it came to people and situations. She, just like the Charming's, tried to see the best in everyone around her. She forgave too easily and always felt guilty for being angry with anyone.

She knew she had to stop forgiving so fast.

But as she walked through the jungles of Neverland, she hoped Pan would forgive her for going against his wishes. She regretted ever leaving camp when a mosquito the size of her eyeball flew by.

She squealed and ran in the opposite direction and wished she had a bucket of bug spray.

"Okay, okay, I wanna go home now." She breathed to herself in a panic. As she looked around to her setting, Evelina realized she didn't know where she was. She whimpered.

"Oh no."

She turned around and groaned. She sucked on her pointer finger and stuck it out into the air. She waited and realized the wind was going South.

"So that's where I'm heading." She mumbled to herself and began walking.

Evelina was not very friendly towards insects. She hated the tiny creatures, even butterflies. She thought they were weird and had no need to exist.

She suddenly let out a high pitched shriek when she saw a snake move about three feet in front of her. Evelina was so frightened she ran in the opposite direction again. She didn't even look before she took off.

And so she ended up running straight into a spider web.

She screamed again and this time fell onto her face.

"Of course I would be stupid enough to fall. Only someone as stupid as I am would trip over nothing." Evelima scolded herself.

She stood up and kicked a rock before stomping off into the woods. She was not made for the jungle, that much she knew. She didn't know what possessed her to come to Neverland, a place that was basically one huge jungle.

She hated everything that surrounded her; the bugs, the humidity, the dirt and the sun. Everything just disgusted her. She preferred the cold, the dark, and the privilege of not having any bugs around her.

She squealed when another bug flew by her. The butterfly freaked Evelina out.

When Evelina smacked the butterfly away, she looked up and her eyes caught sight of a beautiful ripe guava. Her mouth suddenly watered and she had the urge to climb the tree.

She considered her options. Either track Peter Pan down or climb the tree and eat the guava.

She decided Peter could wait. Evelina was hungry.

She approached the tree and grunted as she jumped up and lifted her body off the ground. She swung her leg over the branch and pulled herself up, mamaging to perch herself on the first branch. She continued to climb. She finally sat on the closest branch and smiled proudly as she began to reach for the fruit.

Just as her slender fingers touched the fruit, she screamed because she stumbled out of the tree and hit every single branch on her way down.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck!"

She groaned when she hit the ground.
All her limbs ached and she cried as she curled up into a little ball.

"I hate this place." She moaned and glanced back up at the tree. The guava was still stuck to the tree, mocking Evelina.

"Bloody guava..." She growled loudly. Evelina picked herself off the ground and aimed her hands at the fruit. Out of complete fury, she let her powers go straight onto the branch that held the fruit and it broke off. Evelina watched as the branch fell to the ground with the fruit still attached. Her eye twitched as she walked over and yanked the guava off. She angrily wiped it against her shirt and bite into it with a scowl on her face.

"Jeg hater denne øya!"

~

The young princess continued to walk through the jungle. She had finished the guava miles behind. She was furious she still hadn't Peter or any of the lost boys. She didn't have a clue as to where they could've gone. Evelina figured they might've gone back to camp. Evelina wished to go there too. If only she knew how.

"Lost, little Frost?" Evelina turned towards the voice with sudden surprise. The voice was not in any ways familiar.

When Evelina settled her eyes on the mysterious person, she raised an eyebrow. It was a girl. Evelina had not seen another girl on Neverland other than herself. The girl had a deep British accent, just like Peter, dark brown curls, a fair complexion, and a smirk smeared across her face. Evelina took a small step back. The girl for some odd reason looked dangerous to Evie. She did not like her.

"Who the fuck are you?" She snapped. The young Frost was not in a good mood ever since entering the jungle. The mysterious British girl chuckled.

"Got a tongue on her. I can see why Pan likes you." She said and Evelina growled.

"I ask again, Who the fuck are you?" She asked harshly.

"I'm Wendy Darling, the true queen of Neverland." The British girl said with such confidence, it was laughable.

Evelina had to hold back a loud chuckle.

"Wow." It was all Evie could think of. This girl seemed to be delusional. She looked over the Wendy girl and decided it would be best not to anger her. So all Evelina did was grabbed a random stick on the floor and continued walking her path. Wendy looked surprised and startled as the platinum haired girl walked away from her.

"Wait where are you going?"

"Away from you, obviously." Evelina mumbled and glanced back, only to see Wendy rushing after her.

"I didn't get to finish my entrance speech-"

"That's because I simply do not care." Evelina snapped. She didn't stop walking, and she could hear Wendy behind her.

"You're the girl who killed Sebastian, are you not?" Evelina asked. Wendy smirked, but Evie couldn't see her.

"Of course. Brave boy, I do wish he would've screamed more when we slit his throat." Wendy mocked and Evelina gave a tight smile. Without warning, Evelina gripped onto the stick tighter and with a sharp turn, she whacked Wendy's face. Evelina heard a satisfying crunch when the stick made contact with the British girl's face.

Evelina smile turned smug.

She smiled even wider when she saw tons of blood escaping through Wendy's broken nose. The hit Evelina delivered was so forceful, it knocked Wendy unconscious.

She held her stick proudly.

"You, my great newly discovered weapon, are coming home with me."
