Green Skinned Demons

Peter laid next to Evelina, an arm wrapped around her waist. She slept soundly, and he didn't dare wake her up. He pulled the covers closer to her and made sure her bare body was protected from unwanted eyes. He slowly moved his arm away and gave a small whine when he felt her stir. He had spent a night of bliss with his queen, and he didn't want to wake her any time soon. He immediately froze. He waited until she fell into her deep slumber again and smiled down at her. So beautiful. So perfect. Everything about her was magical. Her way of seeing life, the way she always made him feel better when he was angry. Evelina easily had him wrapped around her thin finger.

Pan shook his head. He thought it creepy of him to stare at her and quickly left the tent before he got caught. He rushed over to Slightly and Felix.

"Status report, boys."

"It seems like Wendy and her goons have decided to bring the party to you, Pan. One of the Indians caught sight of Pogocat when he was out gathering berries and he took an arrow to the leg. Won't be on it for two weeks max." Slightly informed. Pan nodded slowly and sighed.

"So they're being more active. Anything else?"

"Queen Clarion said some of her fairies have spotted new visitors on the north side of the island. Don't know what that is about and Pogocat can't go spy."

Pan frowned.

"Descriptions of the intruders?"

"Two. One male, another female. The man looked normal I suppose but the lady had a strange skin condition."

"Such as?"

"Her skin was green."

When Evelina woke, she was surprised to find the spot next to her empty. She whined and opened her eyes when she realized her Peter was gone.

"Peter!" She called out with only half open eyes and a raspy voice. She got no response. She groaned and plopped her upper body up.

"PETER!" She yelled out again, hoping to get his attention and maybe a glass of water. Once again no response.
Evelina grew annoyed and jumped out of bed, deciding she didn't need Peter to get her a glass of water. She could do that on her own. She threw on simply clothes before stepping out of the tent. She went over to the single pitched on the table and poured herself some water.

She looked around camp and realized something was off. It was silent. Too silent. It was never that silent, there were always lost boys talking loudly or the clanking of weapons hitting against each other.

Evelina looked around and frowned. Nobody was seen. She began to check all tents for any lost boys.

She grew relieved when she found Pogocat laying his tent.

"Where is everyone?"

"Out. Pan went to deal with an issue on the North side of the mountain, while the rest went to deal with the Indians and Wendy. Said he'll be back later and for you not to worry." He said without looking up from his book.

"And why didn't you go?"

"Injured." He said while pointing to his leg. Evelina fell silent. She walked out of Pogocat's tent and huffed. She grew annoyed at Pan, leaving her alone at camp with no one to entertain her but an injured boy. She found a rock near the underground lake and sat down. She let out a loud huff before freezing a bit of the lake.

"And what am I supposed to do here all alone?" She snapped to no one in particular and made a large icicle in her bare hand. She admired how the tiny thing could be such a dangerous weapon. She knew she would have to sharpen her fighting skills if she was to survive Neverland. Just as she was about to go train on her own, Evelina suddenly heard a voice behind her.
