Evelina had found her way back to Hangman's Tree. She was still in a foul mood from her encounter with everything in the jungle, but she did feel a lot better after smacking Wendy in her face. Evelina especially liked watching her bleed.

When she walked down the many stairs to get back into the main camp, she didn't expect Peter and the rest of the lost boys to already be back. But there he was, tapping his foot with his arms crossed and sporting a horrendous scowl.

"Where the bloody hell have you been, you daft girl?" Pan snapped and Evelina pushed past him. She was still in a sucky mood and Pan's face didn't make it any better.

"Out." She responded bluntly.

She walked over to her bench-like log. She plopped down and placed her chin on her palm.

"What do you mean, you went out? Do you know the sort of danger you could have-"

"Danger? Oh, you mean that stupid British girl who thought she could rub Sebastian's death in my face?" She taunted and Pan's face drained.

"You met her?!" He screamed and Evelina nodded.

"Yeah. Terrible person, but the damage I did with this stick made me feel a little better..." She mumbled as she looked at her stick with a gleam of proudness in her eyes. Peter raised an eyebrow at her.

"You hit her?" He asked softly. The young Frost nodded.

"Think I broke her nose or something. Knocked her unconscious and everything. The blood was a bonus." She continued.

Peter Pan had never felt prouder in his life.

"You are amazing, you know that?"

"I did know but I like hearing you say it too."

Even though she had caused physical damage to Wendy's face, Evelina had still gotten scolded by Peter. He was upset she had gone out.

"But I was fine."

"And what if you weren't?"

"You seem to forget that I have ice powers. I can protect myself. I'm not hopeless."

"I seriously doubt that." Peter snapped and Evelina glared at him.

Days went by afterward, and the couple were still a bit on edge about the Wendy incident. Whenever Peter now had to go up above ground, three lost boys stayed behind to make sure Evelina didn't leave. She was upset Pan didn't believe she could protect herself.

"It's not that I don't believe in you, love, it's that you don't know what Wendy is capable of," Peter said one night as he sat next to Evie. She was devouring fruit after fruit with an angry face on.

"You look adorable when you're angry," Peter said with a quirky smile on his face. Evelina glanced at him and immediately regretted it. He looked like an innocent puppy. But she knew he was far from innocent.

"I hate you." She simply said and Peter chuckled.

"I know you do."

Tiger Lily had to fight a small smirk when Wendy explained why she came back with a broken nose. The British girl kept mumbling curse words and saying the worst of the worst as one of the tribe healers fixed her injured nose.

"I swear I will rip off her limbs one by one," Wendy growled as she pictured killing Evelina right before Pan's eyes. It brought her pleasure for a split second before she hissed in pain because the healer had accidentally nudged her nose.
