A Day in life with Jae (SIXTH PART)

"Mom?" Jae called as he swing his little feet on the carpeted floor, squishing his eyes with his soft small hands.

"Mommy?" Jae called once again, and when he saw the warm bed he had slept with you and his little brothers empty, he decided to walk out of the room.

His little footsteps can be heard at the staircase, he makes his way to the living room just to found it was empty, he cried out loud imagining that you leave him.

"Mommy!" He slump himself in the last step of the stair gripping on the stairwell, just then he realize the loud noise on the garden.

"Mommy!" He shouted dashing his way through the garden where you were.

As soon as he found you he throw himself in your arms and hug you so tight.

"What happened to my baby boy?" You said with a loving and comforting voice, tapping his back lightly.

"I thought you leave me" he said still crying, the boy who acts like a grown up man who likes to hide his soft and warm feeling behind his sarcasm and sass is now crying in your arms, you smile at the thought that he is finally opening up his feelings to you.

"I won't leave my baby chicken little!" You said and hear the other toddlers small laughs, you saw him flinch and brush his tears away.

"I'm not chicken little, but Mom, thank you for not leaving me, for taking care of us" he said, then let out a laugh as he stares at you for a second then he run on the swing due to embarrassment and hide his flustered face, you slightly giggle and scoop up Dowoon and place him in your lap, he pick a lego and play with it.

"Sungjin! Hahahaha!" Jae laugh as he push Sungjin's swing higher, the reason why Sungjin's grip on the loop tighten.

"Stop pushing me!" Sungjin cried.

"What is it again Jae?" You said unable to stop yourself to walk to them.

"He might fall off the swing if you push him higher, don't you know?" You added.

"I know Mommy, but when he fall, he will stand up again, he might cry but he will move on from the pain of the might be bruises he will gain, that's what life should be right? Like what Mommy and Daddy did, they left us but we are able to moved on right? To stand up with ourselves right?" He said with a sincere tone, the others left staring at him unable to understand what he is saying, you sigh and silently pray that they will soon moved on and start with a happy life again with YOU.

You nod and smile at them, the other boys continue playing and that's when you realize Jae doesn't eat his breakfast yet.

"Jae? lets make you something to eat, and kids? Get inside the house, brush your teeth and I'll register you to your new school later" You said as you pick Dowoon on the grass, the other kids were jumping and cheering out loud while running their way inside.

"Mom? Were going to study at the new School?" Jae said a little bit worried.

"Yes, why? Are you nervous?"

After you registered them at their school yesterday, Jae in primary school, then the triplets on preschool, Wonpil were in the same school but in lower grade than the triplets and lastly Dowoon, who are still three years old so you will take him to your work, you decided to take them in late school today and the reason why you are driving them off their schools.

"I'm nervous Mommy!!" The triplets shouted, you saw Wonpil in the rearview mirror looking down on his lap while fidgeting his hands.

"Don't be, I know you will find a new great friends there and you know, you will be a smart kid!" You encouraged them.

"I'm smart, I don't need to study then" Jae said on the passenger seat.

"What Jae? You want to be genius right? So, you have to study in school"

"I'm genius" He plainly said.

"But you have to study in school, do you want me to get mad?" You ask and saw his grip on his bag tighten.

"No, I'm sorry Mommy" he said and look up at you to smile.

"That's good, were here!" You said and park your car in front of the primary school where Jae's going to study.

"Okay Mom, take care, bye!" He bid his goodbye as he let go of your hand.

"Bye! Be a good boy!" You said and wave your hands at him, running your way to where your car is.
