GIVING TASKS

After the breakfast you decide to spill the beans.

"Jae, Sungjin, Junhyeok, Wonpil, Dowoon, wait? Where's Brian? Oh nevermind, he must be still sleeping, kids, Mommy have a proposal to you" You wink at Jae's as a signal and he raises his three fingers forming an okay in return getting the hint.

"What kind of proposal Mom?" Sungjin ask with a totally confused face.

"I want you guys to cooperate with our vacation, we are leaving to release some stress, since it's a summer vacation and I know that you all probably were stressed from studying and needs a lot of rest too-"

"Exactly!" Jae agreed cutting you off from what you are saying.

"And like what I am saying, we are going to a stress free vacation and I need your cooperation to be a behaved kids who listens and obeys your Mom well which is of course -Me, myself and I, can I trust you with this?" You continued as you look at the kids reaction who are changing from serious face to a happy and excited one.

"Yeeeeey! Vacatiooooooon!!!" Junhyeok cheered followed by Dowoon who copied Junhyeok with his kinda unaudible words.

"Don't be so excited" You say breaking the small party-party the two kids are throwing, "Because if you ever break the contract then misbehave and becomes a mischievous troublemaker you are" You were saying this while giving them 'the contract' you made yourself with a colorful drawing of the kids behaving kindly and respectfully on the picture attached into it (to show them that you are serious about it) you also gave them a pen, as soon as Dowoon have his he started doodling already, "I will be like what Sungjae's dad became", You switch the TV on and it shows how Sungjae's dad became small because he doesn't listened to him and lied (of course it's an edited version who doesn't show his dad who's just pretending to be small).

The once worried face of Sungjin becomes more anxious about what you had said, he's too worried that you will just became a small Mom because he knows that his brothers are troublemakers (especially Jae) and wouldn't follow what you said. However, he still sign the contract and setting his mind to be more responsible and disciplines his brothers so you can actually enjoy this stress free vacation you planned.

"So, for the starter, since it's a stress-free vacation, I will leave to you from the packing of your clothes and whatever you want to stuff in your luggages and almost everything we will do in our vacation into your hands" Standing up you took the kid's luggages out of the bottom of your closet.

You heard Jae shuffle to crouch down beside you, "Mom, I didn't agree to this" He whispered.

"Okay, Jae have his minus point right now since he's complaining, Wait -I forgot to say there's a grading process and the higher grades one of you will get, I'm going to grant whatever his wish are" You smile mischievously at Jae that makes him flustered.

"It already started? But Mom-" He tried to reason out but you cut him off.

"Alright, two negative points to Jae" His face crumpled in annoyance and left while grumbling.

"Oh, what did you say Jae?" You teases him and laugh at his quiet response, "Love you Mom" he throws a heart on your side before he drag his luggage out into his room.

Satisfied with your genius plan you quietly goes to your room and opened your laptop to watch what the kids in the DoJaePil's (Dowoon+Jae+Wonpil) room doing (yeah you have installed a hidden camera almost in every corner of your house)

"No" you took a sharp breath at what you have witnessed.

Firstly your full of cuteness Wonpil is stuffing his suitcase with a pororo figurine and also poli, next he put his small pink sweater on (but Jae saw it and grab it on him and put it at the very bottom of his own closet) "Don't you ever dare to touch that ugly sweater again or I'll get rid of pororo and poli" You heard Jae said as Wonpil have no choice but to retreat and got sullen and sat at the corner, leaving his suitcase untouched, just pororo and poli inside.

After seeing that Wonpil's not going to pack again, you turn your attention to Jae who are rummaging inside his closet, "I have to burn that ugly sweater soon" He mumbled and finally pulling something out of his closet you saw how he turn his head from left to right to see if the kids are looking at him before he finally put his chicken little shirt you bought for him at the bottom of his suitcase and places a piece of sweatshirt on top of it, next he places his winter jacket and a lot of fashion outfit he have over there, that makes him flustered because he already have no spaces for his pants.

You shook your head and kinda regretting on leaving this task on them, seeing how Jae is so fashion oriented and couldn't fit his whole fashionable wardrobe inside the small luggage he have there also he pack all of his winter outfits when it's a summer season, you can imagine when you talk to him later that he will just insist that being fashionable is better than being comfortable and that makes you release a sigh for the nth time.

Running your hand on your hair you turn to how Dowoon's packing is doing and as expected just like Wonpil he is also placing his favorite thing first but instead of pororo and poli he is putting his cute cats and dogs plushie inside (this what makes him do for his undying love for pets).

Sungjin peer his head on DoJaePil's door just to say "Don't forget to pack your clothes!" Upon hearing Sungjin's warning, Dowoon took the first pair at the very top of the folded clothes he have and stuff it inside his suitcase but again you release a long sigh because the ones he puts in are just his pair of pajamas.

Maybe it's not really right to leave this task to a six year old eldest Jae who loves fashion too much than appropriate, a five years old triplets though one of them who is responsible that is Sungjin, a four year old sullen Wonpil and a three year old innocent baby Dowoon, "I think I'm getting more stressed" You rumble.

Dowoon exited the room and comes back with a pack of dog food and places it in his suitcase too, "Don't tell me he's going to take Woowoo with us?" (It's Dowoon's pitbull dog's name, obviously it's only in this book) upon realizing that fact you internally prepare yourself for the coming argument with your maknae.

"Maybe the triplets room are a bit different" You are not losing hope but it has been crush down at what you just witnessed.

And what you have been witnessed after switching to the triplets hidden cam? A total of four syllable and three words that could already makes you lose your mind..

A-COMPLETE-MESS!!!

Taking a deep breath you tried to still calm yourself down.

Turning your attention back to the screen again, you saw how Junhyeok pull out as much clothes he can carry in his tiny arms and dump it on his bed until there's no more even one piece inside his closet, after that he stares at his work and turn his head to look at Sungjin, prepping himself for a scolding at the cleanest brother he have, but no one came because Sungjin is just like him, rummaging on his own closet and pulling and throwing his clothes everywhere until he has finally decided for the pairs he will put on his suitcase, not until when he turn around and saw the mess he and Junhyeok made.

"That's it!" You stomp your way to the living room and call the kids.

"I shouldn't made you do the packing beforehand, that took us half of the day already" You complain as you were driving to the destination of your vacation's location, which is your friend Seungwoon's grandfather's farm.

"Mom-"

"I'm still upset with you all, especially you Sungjin", You cut whatever Sungjin is saying, "I thought you were the responsible and the cleanest one but you disappoint me".

"I wanted Woowoo to come!" You heard Dowoon yell.

"That's your punishment, no woowoo on the vacation" You ignored Dowoon's cry and continue on driving.

"But Mom-"

"No is a no Sungjin, no one can change my mind" Once again you cut Sungjin off and continue on driving when you felt quiet uneasy feeling and turn to steal a glance on the rearview mirror and count the kids in your mind.

"Oh sh*t" You cursed under your breath when you realized that you left Brian behind whom you forgotten about.
