"What do we have here?" Jae said opening the fridge and saw a buttercream cake with a chicken figure candy sticked into it, his eyes grew in admiration and suddenly felt hungry.
He pick the chicken figured candy and bite into it, he feel so happy upon tasting the sweetness in his taste buds, honestly, he really like chicken, or chicken merch, he just denies that he doesn't, because he knows that he will be a teasing bag from the other boys.
"I want more" He whispered after finishing a whole piece of cake, he rummage through the refrigerator and found a bear shape piece of cupcake, he wore a disgusted look and start rummaging again inside the fridge, but his gaze fall down at the cupcake again and lick his lips, "I think it is better than to have none" He said as his eyes glistening at the sight of sweet cupcake, he threw the bear candy on the floor and start muching on the cupcake while his eyes closed.
But his eyes flick open when he heard a footsteps coming, he put the left piece of cupcake on his mouth and gulp a milk down to his throat but he choke on it and start coughing.
"What are you doing here Jae?" You said while rubbing his back gently, you squat down and look at Jae's small eyes behind his round glasses.
"I'm *cough* drinking *cough* *cough* milk" Jae said struggling to form words.
"Here, have some water" You give him glass of water as he take a sip on it, "Feel better?" You smile gently at him as he smile back at you nervously.
"Let's go to the coffee shop if you're already okay?" You led Jae in your car when you saw him nod his head and drove off to your shop.

"Miss Y/N, here's the new employee" April said as soon as she spotted you.
"Tell her to meet me at the office" You said and saw how she led a girl about 20's of age with a baby cradled in her arm.
But Jae's attention is not on the people around him, he's instead staring at the delicious cupcakes and cakes displayed on the rack, gulping down his saliva and didn't even turn his gaze away on it even when you drag him gently towards your office.
"So, your name is Cait Smith?" You said while reading the employee's data.
"Yes Ma'am" She shyly nod, you felt fond of her already even though it's not even minutes of being wih her.
"Then, who's that child in your arms?" You ask gently and curiously but not wanting to offend her.
"He's my brother, my Mom and Dad divorced, three years ago and they didn't provide anything to raise me, I was part timing at the restaurant a month ago and my Mom came and give me this baby, telling me that it's my brother, and she doesn't want to raise this kid as well as she did to me" The young lady is now crying while clutching on the baby's shirt, "I don't have anything to go either, I can't pay the rent, my past boss fired me the reason is I can't come to work because I have to look for this kid" She sniffles and stare at your eyes, "I don't want to do this, but, please, I'm begging you, please let me have this job!" She stand up and get on his knees that makes you rush on her side.
You felt something inside of your chest shattered into pieces at the sight of her, it feels like you are looking at yourself, her Mom and Dad divorced, like what happened to you, her Mom have another child like you do, she want to take care of her brother and raise him well like you do also, how can you resist this woman and let her struggle more?
"You may be think that it's out of pity, but I'm going to hired you, you can start whenever you want" You help her stand up as she bow at you repeatedly.
"Thank you so much Ma'am!" She said as you offer her tissues to wipe her tears.
"Where can I have the uniform Ma'am?" She ask that startled you.
