"C-come on! let's go through the living room" I suggested, pulling her by the arm to the other room
We sat in silence neither one of us wanting to be the first to break it "Tell me about them?" I eventually said
"What'd you mean?"
"Your best friend, tell me about them" I asked again softly, grabbing her hand and squeezing it reassuringly
"He was the best friend you could ever ask for, he was a year older than me but he never made me feel younger or any different, we'd known each other since we could remember and he was always happy and smiling, his smile could light up the room, when I started getting bullied at school he'd always stick up for me even when they turned on him but he started suffering from depression, people think guys don't get depressed but they do Charlie, it's all my fault if he never stuck up for me, he wouldn't of for bullied then he wouldn't of killed himself" she broke down, I immediately pulled her into my arms and let her cry, I didn't say anything, I just rubbed her back and held her
"I found him, I went there after school 8 years ago today and I found him dead, he hanged himself, that was the first night I cut, then I fucked up everything but no matter what I did, i can never bring him back" I tightened my grip on her
I knew from experience that no matter what anyone said there wasn't anything you could say to make them feel better
"I-I'm sorry" she hiccuped, she rubbed her eyes again, smearing her makeup even more
"You don't have to be sorry"
"C-can we just watch a movie or tv or something?" She suggested composing herself
"Sure" I grabbed the remote, putting my feet up on Demi
"Comfy?" She chuckled
"Yup"
I put on Orange is the New Black and ended up snuggling up with Demi on the couch
It's crazy how stuff works out, only a few days ago, my mother died, and now after an emotional night I'm cuddled up with a celebrity who I'm falling for way too fast
