After two hours I was a nervous wreck and even Daniel's usually soothing touches did nothing to help my racing heart.
Sure, Jamie had talked about me, but what if he was angry with me for leaving him alone or even worse, what if he hated me for abandonning him?
I had convinced myself that our relationship in the past had been a good one, because the feelings, which were connected to Jamie and I could actually recall were all very positive. But what if Jamie did not understand my reasons for leaving him in the Redwood pack and was deeply hurt by my actions. Hell, I could not even understand them. I just had to trust myself that everything I had done was the best for Jamie.
"Ellie, everything's going to be okay!", Daniel told me and pulled me into his lap.
I blushed, because for one we were still driving and two Coby and Bryan were in the same car.
However, I needed the touch of my mate and the tingles accompanying it and I realized that our two warriors were doing a great job of ignoring us.
I relaxed in Daniel's embrace and leaned my head on his shoulder. My nose brushed the side of his neck, where my mark was and I felt Daniel shudder at my touch.
Pleasure raced through me and I knew that those emotions were Daniel's. I marvelled at how good I became in telling our feelings apart.
"I couldn't stand it if he hates me.", I whispered into Daniel's ear, not wanting to speak the words out loud.
Daniel's emerald green eyes locked with mine and I saw determination reflected in them.
"Nobody could hate you my love, you're just too lovely."
I sighed, because of course Daniel would tell me that. He was my mate, so naturally he thought I was the most perfect creature on earth. While I was deeply satisfied with his point of view on me a bigger part still worried about Jamie.
My wolf, although she had never met him, was concerned as well and this bothered me even more. Out of the two of us, she was the brave and self-assured one. I had come to rely on her in this past few days and had grown more confident in my actions as the Luna. Now she seemed bothered as well and this made me even more uncertain about what would happen in the next minutes.
My heart started to pound even more when I noticed two dark brown wolves running besides our car.
"They're just making sure that we're not outsiders.", Daniel reassured me and I nodded my head.
I tried to distract myself and watched the scenery outside. My eyes widened when I took in all the almost red trees beside the road and I finally understood why Alpha Red's pack was called the Redwood pack.
My wolf itched for a run and apparently Daniel saw the longing in my eyes, because he smiling said: "We're going for a run later on, my love."
"I'd love to!", I excitedly responded and Daniel leaned in to kiss me.
Although we had kissed a lot since Daniel had confessed that we were mates, my heart still raced like crazy and butterflies were still running riot in my stomach.
His eyes told me how much he loved and adored me and I sincerely hoped that Daniel knew my intense feelings for him as well.
I had finally come to terms with my obsession with Daniel and knew those feelings were normal for werewolves and their mates. I had been very glad that there was a rational explanation for my emotions and behaviour and was even more satisfied when Daniel had admitted that he felt the same way about me from the very first moment he had scented me.

WerewolfI panted hard, when Daniel wispered into my ear: "We should call you Snow white." I barely manged to answer him in my pleasure filled state. "Why's that?" "Because....", Daniel started and paused to lick a certain spot on my neck yet again. "Your sk...
