Winter and Tsuki mad their way through the town. The mare was obviously paranoid as her eyes kept snapping back and forth. Winter seemed to notice this, and a smirk made its way onto his face as he stretched his large blue wing around her.

Tsuki's eyes widened and she immediately jumped back, the blood rushing to her face.

"I-I'm sorry...thank you for trying to cheer me up but..I...I'm just not like that...I'm..I'm taken actually.." she blushed harder. Max just nodded and tucked his wing back to his side, looking a bit gloomy now.

They continued walking, when suddenly Max's ears perked up.

"Are we close?" He asked.

Tsuki nodded.

"Yeah, she's in trouble."

Tsuki immediately shot a scared glance at him, "How do you know?! What? What-what's happening?"

"Its this weird feeling I get when there's trouble ahead. I've had it since I was a foal." He reached into the sheath dangling sneakily beneath his side bag and he unsheathed a sword. It was surprisingly large, and looked magical.

"Uhm..where did you get that?" Tsuki looked at him, her eyes full of curiosity.

"An old stallion gave it to me." He said simplistically. Tsuki managed a tiny giggle, thinking it was a joke. Winter was as tight-lipped as ever.

"Well? Want to save your friend?"

Tsuki cleared her throat, "She's my...my marefriend actually..."

"Oh yeah..my bad. Ready to save her?"

Tsuki smiled gently, shaking a bit from nerves.

"Yeah."

With that, Tsuki lead him to the house and she managed to teleport them on top of the roof (though she stumbled and almost fell off, but was caught by Max).

"Which room do you think she's in?" Winter whispered. Tsuki began walking towards a small slightly caved in part in the roof. She then looked through a small hole.

"What are you doing?" Winter asked.

"Every time we used to visit Tiger, she would let us stay in the guest room. I always noticed the roof was caved in and that rain leaked through this hole, so I figured I would be able to see if Stormy was being kept in here..." Tsuki chided, moving around to get a better angle, so she could see through the hole clearly.

She gasped and put a hoof over her mouth when she saw Stormy.

Stormy's Head was dangling and her mane was in front of her eyes. There were bloodstains all over the floor beneath her and she was fighting back sobs. There didn't appear to be anypony else in the room.

"Max." She said, quickly, "Do-do you think you can break this roof?"
His eyes widened.

"That will draw too much attention."

"No, I can get in and teleport us all out after I've untied her. You can fight them, right?"

Max stared at her for a moment, then it was replaced by a look of determination.

"Stand back." He muttered. Then, he brought his sword down with all his light on the roof, multiple times. Suddenly, Stormy cried out "No!" Before the roof gave in, and Max and Tsuki fell.

They both lay on the ground for a moment, coughing up the dust in the air.

"Ts-Tsuki please get out of here! Leave me!" Stormy suddenly cried out, choking on the dust. Her eyes were glassy but tearful and deep.

"Wh-what?!" Tsuki choked out, before shaking her head and using all her strength to untie Stormy.

"No I'm not leaving you here. Why would you say that?!"

"It's a trap. They knew you were coming, they want to kill me in front of you."

Tsuki shook her head as she continued untying Stormy, almost done. Hoofsteps were approaching quickly down the hallway and Winter stood in front of the two, his wings spread out and his sword grasped tightly in his Hooves.

"Do you really think I'd let them kill you?" Tsuki asked, looking into Stormy's eyes as she finished unbinding her.

"Now grab my hoof." She said, "I'm teleporting us out of here."

"Wait! Don't! They have a-"

But it was too late. She had attempted to teleport, but instead, a flash of white light had sent them all flying back. That's when Ray and Tiger entered.

Tiger laughed. "See Stormy?" She said, standing over her.

"Not as smart as you though she was, huh?"

Stormy groaned, attempting to pull herself off the ground.

"And—ooh!" Ray exclaimed, "Whose this?!" He said, pinning a hoof against Winter's chest. "A new friend?...well...maybe I can make room in my art collection for him..."

Max struggled beneath the stallion's weight, before suddenly throwing Ray off of him and standing up with the sword in his hand. He immediately charged at Ray. Ray stepped to the side, like a bull trainer, and Max skid to a stop for another attack.

"T-Tsuki!" Stormy cried out, attempting to wake the unconscious mare.

"Hmm.." Tiger began, "Looks like we'll have to capture all three of you. That way, Tsuki can watch you die, her little friend die, and then...herself die. Don't worry, we won't kill her automatically. We'll give her time to think...we'll give her time to realize that it's all her fault." Tiger chuckled sadistically, her bloodstained mask facing Stormy's dilated eyes.

Stormy groaned  and pulled herself off the ground.

"Oh? What's this? You want to fight?"
Tiger chuckled.

Stormy was breathing heavily, her eyes narrowed and her pupils dilated, the bloodstained bandages no longer sticking to her wounds. There was a cry from behind them and Ray's unconscious body skid across the ground. Max came to stand my Stormy, holding his sword out as if to threaten Tiger.

Tiger grimaced. Tsuki was beginning to wake up, mumbling something as she pulled herself off the ground.

"You're outnumbered. Run away." Winter said, glaring at her.

"Run away?....Don't ever say something so stupid again, or I'm afraid you might just pop like a balloon." Tiger was laughing. "But...I prefer the term 'make new plans'. Mark my words. I'll be back." She said and and backed away into the darkness of the hallway.

Stormy was about to sprint towards her but was stopped by Winter's hoof.

"Come on." He said and lifted Tsuki onto his back.

"Let's go."
