Siobhan ran through the forest on her two legs, the fallen leaves and twigs crunching beneath her feet as she dashed between the trees. The moon above them shone down on he dark forest, casting a soft glow. But, with their Lykae sight, they could see in the dark better than a human could.

Behind her she heard Ezra curse when he bumped into a tree accidentally and she laughed, but kept running anyways. The trees started to thin out as she neared a clearing and she slowed down her pace.

Ezra emerged from the brush a second later, "Giving up already?"

Siobhan laughed, turning around to flash him a dashing smile, "You wish."

He shrugged his shoulders and then rolled his neck to relieve any tension in his muscles and bones. Ezra then got low into his fighting stance with his arms up in front of his chest.

"When you're ready, Shiv."

She narrowed her eyes before pouting at him warningly, "No shifting. Shifting is an automatic defeat and I win. Deal?"

"Fair enough," Ezra agreed.

Siobhan grinned and raised her own arms up in protection, waiting for him to strike. They circled around each other slowly, eyes dancing across each others bodies to catch any slip ups. When her eyes glanced down at her fists for a second, Ezra lunged, hoping to catch her off guard. Siobhan ducked and rolled out of his way. Dead leaves attached to her brown frizzy hair like magnets and a dust of dirt already glued itself onto the back of her tunic. Ezra looked unfazed and he continued to circle her once more.

"We're going to have to start sometime," he taunted, "I'm still waiting."

Siobhan groaned in annoyance and sprung at him, aiming to throw a punch at his jaw. Ezra blocked it with his left arm and used his right fist to punch at her stomach. But Siobhan was quicker.

She bent forward, causing his fist to punch at the air just in front of her gut and then she raised her right knee up to land a blow to his own stomach. Ezra bent forward and gasped for air after she kneed him. However, he recovered quickly and he used his strength to twirl he body into the crook of his arm.

Siobhan gasped for air, his muscles arm wrapping around her neck tightly to choke her -though she knew he wouldn't fully knock her out. She struggled under his arm, pulling at his arm to get free, but he wouldn't budge an inch. Then she got an idea.

She raised her leg up and then stepped down as hard as she could onto his foot below hers. Ezra yelped out in pain and his hold loosened on her neck just enough for her to slip out. Using that to her advantage, she elbowed his abdomen and reached up to grab the scruff of his shirt by the neck. With a yank, Siobhan flipped Ezra over her shoulder where he landed on the ground with a harsh thud.

Ezra coughed once and she wasted no time hopping on top of his body to straddle him down. Siobhan leaned forward and wrapped her slender fingers around his throat like a vine. He gripped her waist as she applied pressure to her hold, cutting off his breath just slightly.
